Thank you. It brings a lump to my throat when I think he's going through this without me.
-
Oh Meece...That is a good news. I know you are nervous.
How long is he staying in Honolulu?
That makes 8 ET and 5 PT. Right?
HUGS♥
-
Meece, I took my mom to the airport the morning of the day I fell-she's getting home tonight. She said it's been agony not being here for me but, I've survived & Matt will too....pray, pray, pray
-
Yes, Sheila, you have the time correct. I guess he .will be there about 5 days.
Then back on a plane to Okinawa. Can you imagine a few days post op to be in an airplane for hours on end? YUK!!!
I feel stupid, but just making my last response, I was on break at work, and I started crying. I don't know why. He's a big boy and in God's care. My eyes are tearing up again. I can so relate with your mom, Joni.
Thank you for your love and support.
-
We are mothers we love our children and we are entitle to cry as long as we dont do it in front of them

((((MEECE))))♥((((Joni))))
PEACE
-
Sometimes tears come in front of the children, but mostly happy ones.
I don't want Matt to know just how worried I am. This surgery is the make it or break it point of his military career.
-
Trust me-he won't tell you, but he'll shed tears wishing you were there! Been there, done that, crying as we speak!
-
me too,Eph,crying right along with you. meece, wer'e all praying for Matt. i know he's in Gods' hands, and you know that too, but wow, what we go thru when we can't be with them. my prayers are out there with all of yours. be well..light and love, 3jays
-
Thank you so much, 3Jaysmom. He forgot about the big time change for him and called me at 3 am this morning. I was so sleepy I couldn't talk. He went from 16 hours ahead of me to 3 hours behind me. I asked him to call back in 3 1/2 hours. Hope he will.
-
Meece...I'm thinking of you and your son in a motherly way.
Well you know what I'm trying to say.
Hugs to both of you.
♥♥
-
Thank you so much, ladies...friends. He never called back, but I assume now he is preparing for the hospital. He will be fine.
-

Meece...I want to let you know I'm thinking of you and your son my sister.
(((HUGS)))) to both of you.
Sheila♥

MEECE. -
Meece (((prayers and hugs ))) strongly sent out today.
-
Lord, I ask that you hold our sister's son in your hands as the doctors do the repair(s) needed to fix Matt physically. We know that you love each & everyone of us, and because of the separation between mother & son, I ask you reach out to Meece in a tangible way, so she can feel your warm guiding healing spirit on her heart. Father, you are the Great Physician- thank you for the placing us all in the position of being able to lift our sister & her son to you in prayer. It is in Your Son's name I pray. Amen.
-
Amen
-
Amen. And thank you, through more tears. I spoke with Matt about 3 hours before surgery. He sounded concerned but okay. He said he will call me when he is out of anesthesia. It has been 3 hours, so I don't know when I will find out anything.
thank you again
-
Meece...You have a good night.
I will check the boards first thing in the morning.
Good Night♥
-
you girs are amazing ! while we wait, and pray, we have hugs and candles !! light and love,3jays

Hi All,
I come to the garden in peaceful thankfulness for the rescue of the 33 miners in Chile.
ElaineM
-
aMEN Elaine, we watched it all.. it really was amazing... am still worried about the guy whos' wife found out about his mistress though. he's been stuck in the middle of the earth for 69 days, but where does he go from here eh?they our secrets will kill us. at least he's alive to fix whatever he can now. he's had plenty of time to think about his wife and family. i've been praying for all of them, but him, especially. this could be his chance to turn his life around. i hope he does. L&L, 3jaysmom
-
Did you hear it was his mistress that was there to meet him when they brought him out not the wife.Looks like that marriage is toast.
-
I am also thankful that they were able to rescue all the miners. It is such a shame that the wife had her personal "tragedy" shot into the public spotlight.
-
I'm praying really hard for two of my best girls here, Meece and Joni.
Dear Lord, please give Matt's surgeon steady hands and use the wisdom you have given them to do great things today. Keep Matt's body strong and allow him to heal quickly and effectively. Keep Joni in your embrace as she heals. Allow her earthly body to heal quickly and effectively. Give her strength to endure. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
Holding both of your hand virtually. Lisa
-
I was glued to the TV. Was relieved when every single person was out.
And I think the mistress should stayed home and not to embarass herself like that. At least thats how I think. Thats hurtful to present yourself in front of National TV.
((((HUGS))))) to all my friends. Its so nice to know I can communicate before my cup of coffee without even talking.
♥

I heard on the news that the Chilean news was reporting that it was the wife who was there. Where she hugged him, there was no kiss that I saw, so maybe that was "the woman scorned".
-
I guess little detective work is in order.
Let me google see if we can match the last name. LOL
-
This is the link for wife or mistress mistery LOL
-
Matt called at 7:30 last night. He came through surgery well, was sent back to the hotel a few hours later. He is in a great amount of pain which is to be expected. He has a cast, but is already up and around. That is a good sign, and if he can just keep a positive attitude, I think he will recover quickly. Confidence or high hopes, I just believe God wants him to heal.
-
Great news Meece. The young do have a way of healing quickly.
My brother is a geologist that is familiar with the mine in Chile he told me that it is amazing that the miners survived because the safety standards in that mine were not being followed. The crew that drilled them out were brought in from Canada. Looks like these men were indeed blessed mistress or not.
