I certainly hope I am not breaking any forum rules. If I am then please delete this post.

My wife was just diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday. As we begin our battle I promised my wife and myself that I would document our experiences in the hope that it may help even just one person. I know there are a lot of blogs out there chronicling the fight against this disease. I really want the one I am writing to be for both the females who have the disease, but mainly for their husbands/boyfriendswho are supporting them through this difficult time.

The men in your lives will look at things differently. Just remember that we are here for you and love you more than we can express.

I can only ensure a no holds barred, honest view of my wifes eventual victory over breast cancer starting from day one; mainly from my (her husbands) point of view.

I wish you all nothing but the best

In case anyone is interested, I've updated the blog through the surgery and now into recovery from the surgery (3 weeks post now).

Hopefully the info can help someone.

I did allow for Google ads to be placed so that the blog would show up in more search categories and so I had more layout options. Don't bother clicking them.

    Best Wishes

thanks for posting.  I would think that your description of the post mastectomy situation would be very useful for people wondering what to expect.

I hope things continue to go well for you and your wife and that chemo gets easier.

    Thank you.

It is an incredibly difficult time for the woman affected but for their families/friends as well. I wanted to document our experiences in hopes of helping others.

    Take care

    Hello,

Just a suggestion, if you'd like to reach more people, you can also set up a Twitter account to post the links to your blog.  I hope you both are finding joy out of the small day to days things :)
