Yes Sheila, I can only post about twice in my 10 minute breaks.  It is really slow when going to My Home.

Barbara, you inspired me last night to have a light beer tonight with my pizza.  I just hope I don't zonk out early.

Fighter, welcome!  I'm a neighbor across the river and over the mountain.  Sorry you have to join us.

Sheila: I've noticed for awhile that the site gets really slow and hangs.

Barbara---SO HAPPY for you!!  HOOOOOORAAAAAAAY.  (I still drink!)

Sheila--been very slow for me, too!  Takes forever to go from one topic to another or even to the next page. *sigh*

Fighter--How great is our God indeed!  Sorry you've had to join us, but we're all here in the fight!  So glad for the Great Physician!  YOU GO, GIRL. (I grew up in Rockville!)

Renee--congrats on getting the chemo behind you, what a relief!

Hi Fighter, There is no question you are so strong as I read your posts and it is inspiring... Your strength is contagious! I am glad that you are feeling well after your surgery so quickly. I am scheduled for a BMX w/TE on the 18th and hope to be as strong as you are. -Onestep

barbaraA - a relief indeed! May there be many, many more clear mammos for you!!

onestep -  I just kept reminding myself why I was having surgery - to give myself the best chance of staying alive for a long time - and I was calm on the day.  Hope you are able to find a calm place on the 18th.

fighter - welcome and I hope your further treatments go as smoothly as your surgery has.

Sheila - the system is slow to get into for me sometimes and slow between forums at times but usually not too bad but then I am on when a lot of you ladies are asleep - or should be asleep!  Maybe they need to upgrade the system somehow - don't look at me though I have no idea about that sort of stuff!!

Hi ladies - I just got back from my onco - all's good! Woo Hoo! I was wondering how often you see your onco. I thought it was every four months for two years but he just told me it is every four months for three years. Are you all on the same schedule or does it vary from doctor to doctor?

I think it varies from DR to DR

First 2 years was every 3 months then it was every 4 month.

He said after 5 years will be once a year but he still seeing me every 4 months.

I have an appointment the end of the month lets see what he says.

I think every 6 months I will be more comfortable than once a year

I've found you! So relieved not to be alone in this, but wish none of us had it.  I'm on day 6 of first round of T/C chemo. So far so good. Needed to get through this, to know what to expect...Lucky me, great docs and nurses etc...

Listening to my body with regards to food and rest...and trying to come to terms... (REALLY) with losing hair.  Don't think I've got it yet.. but will keep trying. But.....How do we keep going? I mean really... how? What do we do?  Trying to keep busy... but...y know..  Lots of love to all...

outsidethebox...I'm glad you found us. Some of us are finished with treatments, some are still are. You are at the right place. Don't try to be a superwoman. Just go with your body and hair will grow everything will fall some kind of normalcy, believe me it does but its a difficult journey emotionally and physically.

    HUGS♥

First 2 years F/U's with BS every 6 months and onc every 4 or 5 months.  Now it's BS once a year after mam.  Onc every 6 months.  I did not have chemo because my tumors were very small.  IDC 6mm DCIS 7mm.  Oh yes, I am on generic Arimidex until 7/26/12.

I'm stage one, had lumpectomy, SNB, one week brachytherapy rads, had a port put in and I start Chemo this Wed. I was fine with everything up till now but the closer I get to Wed the more I feel like I'm losiing it..I've read the posts from those that have already started chemo this month and I know they say it hasn't been bad so far so I don't know why I'm feeling like I'm feeling...since some of you already went through/ are done with that, is it normal to feel like I just want to run away and hide my head in the sand somewhere and pretend this will all go away on it's own....I know of course I can't do that but sure wish I could. Sigh.

flynon.., yes it is very normal.  I didn't have chemo but I know everyone reacts differently to the treatment this beast forces upon us.  Hang in there; you will get through it.  ALERT - take only the good as fact and leave the negative behind.  Your journey is yours alone and you may have  some of the same symptome but probably not all.

    HUGS.
