Mom- good breast has "something'

my mom went for mammo on thurday and immediately called back next morning for more images and possible ultrasound.  Well they found area of concern, stated it is small but will be in touch.  It is killing me we wait over the weekend and poss longer until we find out next steps.  She lives in a very small community with her Oncologist in another city. 

it is in her good breast, what is the possibility this is new, she is still on her maintance drugs.  shouldn't this be treating something? 

I am scared, but is my nature to worry, she has been complaining of rt rib area pain for over 1 1/2 month.  all tests have been clear, but if they did not look in all the right places.  She also has not really looked good for the last couple months (grey)  all doctors do not seem concerned only my sister and I, we see the difference. 

i am researching and do not have old files with me right now.  She only has removal of area and radiation last time on the right side.  and they found two types after 2 different time going in to remove area. 

Anyone been through this have advice for me, please pray.  i am afraid of chemo.

    Hi.....

    Is she doing heavy yard works or any other activities?

    Just a thought. I hope you find out soon.

    Call the radiation oncologist or whoever does her follow ups and ask for a scan.

    She last radiation treatment was in Feb. 2010, she does not do heavy lifting, it hurts her all the time, good thoughts though.  She had a scan and ct last month of her chest and was normal, it just not seem right to me, to be in pain and not have an answer, and i very sensitive I think and scared it will be something else.  I try so hard to have positive thoughts, it just seems like the last couple months they have worked and that it has been nothing.  but each time we feel ok we are right back to being afraid.  i wish we could have instant results, wouldn't that be a something.

    How about bone scan?

    I have been told that side of my breast will always be sensitive.

    Go with your own guts.
