Is it okay to detox while going through chemo

Hello I am having my 4th chemo treatment this Monday and friends of mine are encouraging me to do a detox, do you recommend detoxing while on chemo?

    This is the one situation where you WANT toxins (poison) in your system. I had dose dense chemo so my treatments were every other week. Someone did say once that if your treatments are further apart then it would be OK, but if it were me I'd talk to the onc about it.

    You might want to wait with the detox until abut a month after you finish treatments.
