CALLING ALL STAGE I SISTERS

Pinktober is here. All month long. That's for the rest of the country. Most of us here have a 12 month "awareness," don't we?
-
My Dear Friends...I can see the nipples now hahahahahahaha
Pink baloons with nipples, it makes it more real.
You all have good eye sights.
Have a nice day everyone
♥♥

Bobby ~ You are soooo right re: the nipples. I didn't see it before. How funny!
Rae ~ Oh, I know you & the DH will be the proudest parents at your DD's jazz performance! Take lots of pics! And, a family dinner to boot - can't get much better than that!!
elimar ~ You are sooo right about our 12-month "awareness". You can hardly buy groceries this month without there being 'pink' on it & some of the proceeds from the purchase going to some foundation. I sure feel different about all the displays than before I was dc'd. I don't want to demean any of it, but some companies seem to overdo it a bit, IMHO. Research is important, though, just wish more went into prevention as well, i.e. diet, supplements, etc.
Off my soapbox! Sorry for the vent!
more later. still packing......

Ladies pink was my favor color forever.
It actually comforts me.
I try not to relate to BC.
Poor color it was chosen for this horrible disease.
You think the picture with the nipples will be considered R rated.
After all we don't need any problems.
I really like the pink balloons.
Val...I'm between laundry if I don't catch you have a wonderful time with Family.

Love to you all.

Val, have fun seeing the family. We are inching our way closer to home from our visit to see DS & DIL out of state. Been on the road since 5:50 this morning. Stopped for a to-go lunch and at a special fruit stand for some dates for an ailing friend, Other than that, have been in the car all day. 700+ miles today.
Sheila, did you have 3-D tatoos put on those boobies/ I mean balloons?
-
YAY - granny!!!

QCA.....Good Luck on Tuesday.
Sometimes the treatment room is very cold. i quess they have to keep it that way.
Just you know that you can ask for a blanket. I didnt know it, one the technician asked if I was cold and brought me a nice warm blanket.

Good morning all of you lovely ladies, I hope everyone has a good day. I am wondering if anyone has any advice on good questions to ask at the surgeon's appointment today to discuss my scheduled dbl mx (w/TE recon) in a few weeks. I have googled it, but thought I would get your opinions on a couple good ones. Thanks for all.
-
One Step, my advice, though I didn't have a Mx, is take someone with you to help write things down and listen. It is going to be an emotional visit and you may forget things. I know some of my appointments seem like dreams, or should I say nightmares. 7 years down the road I can still remember what the office looked like, and specific things that were there. It was as though I was watching TV.
-
-
Hi...and bye, gotta get back to work.
-
-
-
Thank you, Meece. I took your advice and it was good b/c the nurse practitioner at the office talked all about the post op, etc. It is a lot and I will be glad it was all written down after the surgery to refer to.
