I haven't seen this discussed on the stage three forum and was wondering if I'm alone ot there.

I've seen the metaplastic carsanoma thread, but not stage three.

You aren't alone.  I was stage 3 metaplastic too.  I was diagnosed last June, had two surgeries (lumpectomy and then partial mastectomy), 8 chemo (4 FEC and 4 taxotere) and then 21 radiation treatments and here I am.  Are you finished your treatment?

Finished treatment TC every three weeks x6 on May 6, 2010 Now I'm on Femara for at least the next 5 yrs. Had my first haircut today although it was more of a lite trim to take off just the ends, hopefully it will start to grow in a little faster lol.  How about you?

I'm good.  I had my first haircut about a month ago and that was so fun.  Ever since it has been growing like a weed.  I told a friend of mine I feel like a Chia pet  LOL  I'm on bisphosphonates every six months for 3 years.  I'm still tired from the treatments and I'm hoping that gets better soon.  I had my last chemo last December so my fingers are crossed.  Hope you are having a good day!

I love the Chia pet comment.  To bad we can't all have hair grow in as thick as they do lol. I still have some thin spots but the beauticion said that she could feel stubble of new hair comeing in so that's good.
