I am high risk for breast cancer. My doctor has strongly urged that I have the BRCA assay done. Unfortunately, I am uninsured and unable to afford the out-of-pocket cost. Do you have any suggestions?

  I would call and talk to some of the genetic counslers in your area. They may know how to deal with lack of funds for testing.
