Who's ready to tango!!!!! Tonight will be the reveal of the new season of DWT on bachelor pad. I don't like bachelor pad but I want to see who will be on dwt this season.
-
Hello, hello, DWTS fans. Hi Lvtwoqlt, I too watch bachelor pad just waiting for the great reveal. Not sure what to make of the cast....insteresting mix.
-
Me, too!!!! Who do you think is judging the Bachelor Pad contestant's dances next week? Do you think it will be the regular DWTS judges?
-
Hi Anne. Wow, it seems DWTS is boosting the rating on many shows these days. I only watched Bachelor Pad to see the revealing. I can't beleive what those young people put themselves through for cash.
-
250,000 is nothing to sneeze at. They are having the pros from DWTS come in and teach the couples a dance. There are three couples left but the money is an individual prize (can't figure out how they are going to do that). There was a teaser showing Edyta teaching one of the couples and all the guy kept saying was wow - she is so hot. This will be on next Monday - it's the finale - DWTS fans might find it interesting.
-
Listen up..."there is a younger maverick on the dance floor and she can see the trophy from her house".....bwahahahaha!!!!!
-
Love it, Odalys!!!! Are we all ready for tonight??
-
Could be an interesting season. Looking forward to it.
-
Wow, what a great start! It's going to be an interesting season with all the various personalities. I was so touched by Jennifer's dance. I kept feeling Patrick Swayze presence. Amazing!
-
Loved Jennifer
-
Jennifer was really graceful and strong in her dance. I could not believe how stiff Michael Bolton was. Fun to watch again. My kids like to watch it too.
-
Loved Jennifer - I don't think anyone is standing out as the clear champ right now, which is good. Did anyone else think Len's comment on the Hoff's dance was one of the funniest things ever "It's never too early to panic". I laughed so hard at that. I'll be using it for other situations.
-
Yes, I thought Len's comment was hilarious! I too will be borowing that quote. Do you think Hoff's ego is a little bruised? I'm not sure what Bolton had in mind when he joined the cast? Oh and the female comedian was just bizarre. I think Bolton or the comedian will go home tonight. Who do you think will go home tonight?
-
gutsy - glad your kids enjoy the show too. I hope you continue to watch so you can see how much progress theses celebs make. It's amazing what some of them get to accomplish!
-
Odalys ... I loved Len's comment. I even wrote it down! I'm going to borrow it too!
"It's never to early to panic."
Bren
-
Bren- that quote is definitely a keeper. I can see using it in my classes.
BTW - Glad to see Tony has a good partner this time around. Audrina did very well.
Is Keri Ann pregnant???
-
I think it was fair that the Hoff went home, but I really thought it was going to be Margaret Cho. I am so glad I was wrong. I didn't notice a baby bump on Keri Ann - I will have to look for one next week. Where is Edyita? Could she be pregnant?
-
And Len was so right, it wasn't too early to panic! lol
-
I was glad when Hoff went home. I don't think he cared much. I found his dancing gross (that fake sexual stuff, yuk!)
-
I got the creeps from watching that Oriental Comedian turn her dancing into a comedy act. I thought Corus Leachwoman (whatever she calls herself) was back! I take that show seriously and turn in to watch the people who really want to learn to dance. I can't abide by these fools who use the show to publicize themselves and make a mockery of the dancing. They almost couldn't get rid of Leachwoman for weeks! I sure hope it isn't the same with whoeveer this comedian is. I never heard of her and she needs to go back to doing whatever she did before the show. If she keeps up her comedy dancing acts, I will just turn it off. I can't believe the professional guy who was training her put up with her goof offs. It just made him look like a fool too, IMO.
-
Meds,
She is an incredibly offensive comedian. I saw her in person and she was about as bad as it gets.
-
lovemyfamily: I guess my concerns that a lot of them get on that show for the exposure must be right. She evidentally is trying to build up an audience who will want to see her shows. Frankly, I don't think she would be "my" type of comedian. I thought the days of "slapstick" were over but maybe she is trying to bring it back.
-
I agree with y'all Cho (comedian) was gross. I couldn't believe Loui allowed her to do all that. It was way over the top. I hope she gets serious because the professionals and most celebs really take it seriously.
What do you guys think of Florence Henderson? I was really disappointed with her behavior. What is she trying to prove at this stage of her life? Hopefully she is not following Cloris foot steps. Yikes!
-
As for Hoff...he was a bit vulgar for my taste. Whatever he was doing was not dancing. Glad he went home. I agree it was absolutely Yuck!
-
This my first dancing with the stars....I love Audrina. I loved the Hills show. I wish them all well. Love survivor too!
Koda
-
Glad Hoff was voted off, I too was not impressed with Cho's performance. I was actually liking her style until she went crazy with the comedy. Can't wait until Monday to see what happens next.

No Comments yet? I was wrong last week when I thought Margaret Cho was going home and I am glad I was. She did well last night. Wow, a 3 for Michael Bolton??? I think he is going home this week. Does anyone know why the boos from the ballroom while scores were being given? I have a suspicion, but I don't really want to say it because I don't want to get political.
-
ADK: I am very disgusted with these shows. The audience booed because they knew how unfair those pathetic judges can be. They are "political" in how they judge. Florence Henderson may be 76 and they say they are not taking that into account but look how great her scores were and she was "not" doing the dance the way it was supposed to have been done! I thought Bolton was not fantastic but he surely didn't deserve a 3! It was very obvious once I saw mama Palin in the audience that her kid was going to do well even if she fell on her face on the floor! (But the girl is doing well to be considered). Maybe Bolton should have brought his mom to the show or given a sad story. I don't know "why" I waste my time with these shows!
-
Bolton did deserve the lowest score but I agree with those that say 3 was way out of line. I admit I don't see the Palin's charm or ability but it is early days. I plan to enjoy the dancing and back my favorite as always.

"Oriental" when used to refer to a person is considered derogatory. Asian refers to mostly those of Eastern Asian descent and considered the appropriate alternative for "Oriental."
It is worth remembering, though, that Oriental is not an ethnic slur to be avoided in all situations. It is most objectionable in contemporary contexts and when used as a noun, as in the appointment of an Oriental to head the commission. But in certain historical contexts, or when its exotic connotations are integral to the topic, Oriental remains a useful term.[
