I need some advice from someone who has BTDT

I have myself completely worried here.
On my right breast I have had a rash that I guess has come and gone over the last year. Same spot, same breast. I thought at first maybe it was my bra etc.....
So a few days ago this rash came back - hasnt been there for a few months or more. Its itchy so I put some cortizone cream on it and that seems to take care of the itching. Its red and bumpy and this time its spread out a bit more than the last times.
My breasts are somewhat tender - both of them. Not terribly though. No swelling, no over all redness and my nipple looks fine.
What the heck could this be?! A reoccuring rash?!
Going to see a Dr at the walk in clinic tonight and not sure what I should ask or say, etc?!
I had thyroid cancer (papillary with follicular variant) in 2005 and fully recovered from that. I am 28 , married, with two girls 8 and 6.
Thank you and I appreciate any responses!

What is BTDT? I had Papillary cancer in my breast. I agree with Bonnie, with your history, get it checked out.
-
Oh sorry, BTDT is been there done that.
Where do I find a breast specialist?! (I am in Ontario, Canada)
Is a reoccuring rash a sign of IBC?!
Thank you ladies so much for the reply.

I totally agree with Barbe & Bonnie. Chances are your rash isn't related to breast cancer, but the problem is, if it possibly is, it could be the type of breast cancer that many doctors tend not to recognize or test for adequately. So with your history of thyroid cancer, I wouldn't take any chances. Personally, I'm not sure I would bother with a walk-in clinic, unless that's the easiest way to get a referral to a breast surgeon/breast health expert. These specialists are usually found at larger comprehensive cancer facilities in the US; not sure about Canada, but others here will know. Good luck, and please let us know what happens. Deanna

I have pictures and wonder if I can post them here?! I will remove them if it's not allowed - but my rash sort of "went away" it was still there but not really red or itchy. Now today and yesterday it itches again but it hasn't spread. It's the same spot/rash - anyway - I am seeing the Dr tonight. Not a specialist but a Dr.

Hmmmm I thought I posted an image but I guess I don't know how.

I have trouble with pictures too. Sometimes it will let me just copy and paste and other times I have to click on the little tree in the box and put in the URL. Good Luck

I can't get the pics to work - I would love to e-mail the pics to someone who might be able to give me their thoughts on it. Thank you in advance!

It's possible that it's IBC. My rash itself didn't itch. But I had a lot of itching between my breasts. My rash appeared overnight & it was about 3 inches in diameter, but the cancer was on the other side of the breast along my chest wall. But it would be better to be safe than sorry. I would try to find a breast specialist, thankfully doc didn't brush it off was able to find the bc.
