Allergic reaction to Adriamycin..know what?

Hello Everyone,

First time posting to this wonderful site and have been coming hear for support during my dx the last month.

I had my first chemo treatments yesterday and the nurse was only able to give 60% of adriamycin because I started having large hives all over my face

I also had a really bad allergic reaction, analphalatic (sp) when I had my CT Scan and the blue dye they used did me in. I'm not allergic to shellfish so it must be some type of chemical additive in the blue contrast dye they used.

My question is, is there another drug they can try in lieu of adriamycin? God I hope so...
