please - advise. I'm so scare!
Hello - I'm first time here. I'm from poland so if my english is not wery good - sorry.
Please advise me. It's my story:
a few weeks ago I had a red spot ( big, warm, regular oval shape) on my breast and after about 2 days it was small and light brown and then disappeared. The skin went down at this point. After a few weeks back and disappeared again. It is not wery warm now, maybe little. I used only the cream with vitamin A. This appears partly on the chest part of the body at the bottom of my chest. Appears suddenly and disappears within 2-4 days (now is second day and it is much smaller and less red. So far I had it two times. I do not have enlarged lymph nodes. Can it be IBS? Doctor says absolutely not IBS, it says that it is an allergy or sore from the bra. USG is not shown anything wrong - nodes are not enlarged. Very afraid. This breast is a little larger then before. I always had the socond one a little biger - now both are the same,
What should I ask a doctor? Tomorrow I'm going to go to the oncologist. But I am afraid that it will say "it, s nothing wrong"
It is possible that red spot shows up one day and lost two days later? A few weeks later, again, shows and disappears? The lymph nodes are enlarged? Does anyone here have so that the red spot was decreased, changed color to light brown and disappear?
I'm 32 years old, have 2 little childrens and I'm scare to death. And scare that the doctors will not recognize if it's Inflammatory breast cancer
Please - give mi some advice and if someone had similar symptoms - please write!
Thank You
Aga (agnieszka) from Poland.

The only way to absolutely be sure if you have IBC or not is to get a BIOPSY. That's what you should ask your doctor for.

hello again
Today, my red stain is completely different - much less, it is not red but light brown, a little itchy, but it goes down. Showed up on Friday, today is Sunday so disappears in 2-3 days - as before (a few weeks ago) Breast is no heat, is rather soft - looks normal (but do not feel the normal). Only slightly increased it is still (I see it, there used to be a bit smaller than the other - now they are equal. But this difference is very small)
I am still very please reply - does anyone have like me? Large red area on your chest which disappeared after 2-4 days? and after a few weeks back?
It seems to me that the breast is more sensitive to touch, a little itchy, I feel it a little strange all the time. It does not hurt, but somehow it feels weird. From time to time, lightly prick me in the middle, a little ache at the side or in place of red changes. But it angers me so much that I do not know if it's not out of fear. For the past two months, my breasts are enlarged, often hurt, itch furiously a few times - but it was connected with that I began to contraception, and therefore now was last month when I took them.
Tomorrow I'll try to be with the oncologist. I'll beg for a biopsy.
Just do not know what kind of - here, I read that skin biopsy is best? Should I have it from one place (where it was red) or from several locations on the chest? Please advice -
aga77, if your oncologist orders a biopsy, the doctor doing the biopsy will determine where the tissue needs to come from and this depends on what instructions your oncologist has written. Hope this helps.

aga77, I don't have experience with IBC since my was IDC, but I just wanted to send you hugs and hope that you get some answers soon. Hopefully, someone who's experienced IBC can respond and let you know what to expect. Good luck!

Aga, I have ibc. My redness did not go away--I also was itchy and my breast was warmer than the opposite breast and enlarged quite a bit. I also had a 3.5cm tumor which is unusual with ibc. My surgeon did an ultrasound to see where the tissue sampling was needed. With the ultrasound, they documented the spots and inserted wires so the surgeon would know exactly where to take the tissue from. I was then referred to an oncologist who started chemo the next week.
Good Luck with your biopsy. I hope it shows nothing more than an infection.

thank you all for answering! My redness almost gone today, but I hope that oncologist will treat me seriously. I have a pictures of this when it was red and big, I also have many descriptions of atypical symptoms from this site and another - I printed it all - maybe it help if doctor will not take it seriously. I'll write what next.
thanks

hello girls
It will be harder than I thought
my redness almost disappeared, almost nothing to see .There is slightly rough spot light brown under the breast. the doctor laughed at me - he says that redness in IBS NEVER not go away and come back without specialized treatment . If it is - it always stayand make biger and biger.
In friday I I arranged a meeting with another oncologist. And my mother in law know some good specialist - She tries to do for me to meet him (it's in another city but if he agree I'm goingthere)
Maybe someone will treat me seoriusly...
Please - if you noticed on this forum story with redness come and go and come back after few weeks and go away again - please give me the link. I tried to read all stories - I think there was one with similar symptoms -rednes was go away and even change color for brown - like mine. But I can't find it now. And person who wrote this did't know if it is IBC - I don't know if she wrote what it was finally. If you remember something similar like mine - please write me. Thank you so much. I'm so glad I found this forum!

Well, I went to the second oncologist today. Redness completely gone, brests booth soft and not warm...He told me that I absolutley have no cancer, is just too big breasts and a very badly chosen hormonal pills - that's why it hurt so much, that's why one of brests is bigger, there is absolutley nothing to worry about. I think I have to believe him, his one of the best oncologist specjalist in my area. He offered me a breast reduction operation, without money I have to pay - my booms are so big that the insurance will cover the operation cost. Because he is friend of my mother - he can halp me find good plastic surgeon, make all needed tests (mammo, usg and the other)
I'll do this I think. Right now I decided to trust him that I have no IBC or any other cancer.
Thank you so much for all advice, I wish you all the best - much God blessings. I hope I'll have no more scary symptoms and before a breast reduction operation they will check my breasts once again very carefully (they have to)- so I'll have another occasion to find out that everythink is OK

it came back. Large red spot under my breast
But it is not warm - booth my brests are the same, rather cold (normal temperature of body)
I sleeped in my bra today, maybe it's because of this??
Can IBC redness be cold? Not warm? Its regular oval shape under breast, without pain, my breast is no bigger, not warm...I don't know what I should do...two doctors said that is no IBC
It's little itches.
I was so calm and now I am afraid once again
-
aga77, If two docotors have said it is not IBC I would have a tendancy to believe them but if you are still concerned you can always get a third opinion. In my opinion, you may well have slept on a crinckled piece of sheet or blanket that has left a red mark. Please do not stress yourself over everything as most of the time these things are nothing. Be well and happy.
Love n hugs. chrissyb

Aga, I am from Poland, too. I read your posts on Polish sites and somehow found you here. I have similar symptoms. The redness that is disappearing and I am afraid that in this cancer it just can come and go, please tell me, if you can, how it all ended . Did you contact prof Wronkowski in Warsaw? What exactly did he say? If you read this, please answer.
