Celebrating 7 years!
This week I'm celebrating another year since my diagnosis with Stage 3 bc. I can hardly believe that another year has passed and that it has now been 7 years. I'm still doing well and living a full life. I feel extremely lucky and very blessed! I I'm still taking Arimidex, now for 6 1/2 years, and I plan to continue on it for as long as possible.
I check in often and keep up with how everyone is doing, although I don't post very often. I wish the best to everyone!
Hugs, Trish

Trish03 - Wow, that is awesome! Thanks for posting this, is truly helps those of us that are not quite as far out as you! I noticed you had your DIEP in '05 how did that go and are you pleased with the outcome? I still haven't and trying to get my BMI down so I can meet the qualifications.
-
Awesome! So what are you planning for next years celebration?
-
Thanks for all of the kind comments. I didn't even mention my "special" day to family or friends, but I felt that it was important to share it here. I'm impressed by how many people we now have who are reaching 5+ years, and those stories always give me encouragement.
SusieMTN, I am extremely pleased with my DIEP surgery. I had no problems and would do it again in a second. I had a PM on the "good" side and BL DIEP. To me, they seem like completely normal breasts. I can wear any kind of clothes and even have cleavage, which I didn't have in the past. It's all good! All the best to you...Trish
