Love Kissy Kissy, but love Barbe's alternate name for it too!
Paulding, hope that you & DH can continue to find stress releasers that don't involve complete emotional breakdowns. I just saw "Whip It" over the weekend; any chance you like to skate?
-
Mum, maybe you can put your talents to work, and put the book together and see how it flies. It would be a great "Waiting Room" book, if you know what I mean!
-
Mumayan - beautiful Kissy Kissy photo!!
I wish I had a better camera. There is so much beauty and my zoom is not good so I get little blurry birds and chipmunks. Here is a fancy little guy I saw yesterday.
-

Thanks Eph3_12. We both like to skate and did lots when we were dating. Never seen the movie "Whip it" so I have no clue what you are talking about.
We are doing better. Trying to enjoy the quite time together and thinking about the holidays. Love all the beautiful pictures.
-
whip it is about roller derby. you 2 could join a league!
-
How are you doing, Joni?
I look at your picture and enjoy your smile. It goes deep.
Down in My Heart
I have the joy, joy, joy, joy,
Down in my heart, (where?)
Down in my heart, (where?)
Down in my heart,
I have the joy, joy, joy, joy,
Down in my heart, (where?)
Down in my heart to stay.
And I'm so happy, so very happy
I have the love of Jesus in my heart.
(down in my heart)
And I'm so happy, so very happy
I have the love of Jesus in my heart.
I have the love of Jesus, love of Jesus,
Down in my heart, (where?)
Down in my heart, (where?)
Down in my heart,
I have the love of Jesus, love of Jesus,
Down in my heart, (where?)
Down in my heart to stay.
And I'm so happy, so very happy
I have the love of Jesus in my heart.
(down in my heart)
And I'm so happy, so very happy
I have the love of Jesus in my heart.
I've got the wonderful love of my precious redeemer,
Way down in the depths of my heart,
Down in my heart, (where?)
Down in my heart, (where?)
I've got the wonderful love of my precious redeemer,
Way down in the depths of my heart,
Down in my heart to stay.
And I'm so happy, so very happy
I have the love of Jesus in my heart.
(down in my heart)
And I'm so happy, so very happy
I have the love of Jesus in my heart. -
Hanging in there, thanks! Love this song.
-
I'd love to buy a book of pictures, too, Mum! My son takes pictures but more of scenes and architecture. I love the perfect nature close-ups that your husband gets. He must have tons of patience and sit for hours!
-
the way we sing it with the little kiddies here is:
I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy, joy
Down in my heart. (where?)
Down in my heart. (where?)
Down in my heart.
And if the Devil doesn't like it
he can sit on a tack. (what?)
sit on a tack. (what?)
sit on a tack
They all giggle at that one!
-
meece, you always have the more expanded versions to the hymns i love, can now add to the song im teaching GS Fischer..he's not learning the "basics" as i know them, from his christian pre school. one goal i have is to volunteer at his school when i feel better (again) to read bible stories and sing songs,(which i did for years at VBS when i attended home church..light and love, 3jays

I found the lyrics to that one, and a link to play the insturmental came up as well. Makes you hum all day, doesn't it?
-
Yes it does.

This is the song my oldest DD is singing in Church this Sunday. It's one of her favs. I hope I can make it. CRANK IT UP!!!
-
I couldn't get it.

-
Sorry, someone has hacked the site. We are trying to fix it now.
Who hacks a churches web site?
-
People who have noting better to do. What a pity.
-
Try the link now Meece. She really cranked it out Sunday:) She has a beautiful alto voice and fit this song perfectly.
-
Very nice, PM!
Off topic, I woke suddenly this morning and turned my head too quick, my neck "snapped" I have not been able to move it to the right, up or down all day. I haven't had this sort of pain, in I can't remember. I went to the chiropractor at 10:20 and 4:20 today, and am supposed to go back tomorrow. I can't imagine what happened. Please pray that this eases soon.
-
In my prayers Meece.
My oldest son has strayed from how he was raised to love God. We pray for him daily. I just read on his f/b page he was hit by a car on his bike in Gainesville on Saturday. Miraculously, he was not hurt at all, but the bike was totaled. I'm rejoicing as God hears our prayers and His angels are watching over him. Sometimes I believe my son's angels get pretty beat up.
-
Gods is watching over your DS. He is our Loving God. You have planted a sed in your son, in His time, God will bring him back to him.
Matt was able to get to Hawaii for a second opinion from a non military Dr. He thinks that the surgery that was done 18 months ago was done wrong, and thinks he can go in and repair it with a lot smaller incisions. He scheduled him for October 1st, but somehow there was a mix up and it has been postponed until the 13th. Of all things Matt is concerned about it is that he will have to miss out on teaching his Sunday School class for several weeks!
Please keep Matt in your prayers and his new surgeon, may God guide his hands and aid his skill.
-
Meece, what month was it that Matt 1st met Grace @ her church?
mbtlcsw01-my angels got beat to a pulp from age 16 to 37 or so, but they sure saved my bacon. My prayer warrior was my grandma who died prior to me coming to my senses, but I have no doubt that her vigilance saved my life!
-
January.
Thank God he doesn't give up on us.
-
paulding mom, still cant get into that song, have tried 2-3xs, no sucess. i have 3 boys who have turned away, and pray daily. i know prayer works, for me. God hasnt forgotten them a bit, im sure..its odd how they can be so dedicated, yet the world woos them away.. keep hoping my oldest "jay" will feel the need to tske his son, nothing yet, he jaust turned 3 GS, so maybe soon. he is in a christian preschool..more because they were cheaper, but it still makes me feel better. Fischer and i sing christian songs together, he's alway amazed that i know them..light and love 3jays
-
I started to give you directions to go to the webpage, but thought I would try this instead.
-
Try clicking on the words song link above
-
Thank you Meece.

Prayers for your Matt and for your sore neck. Ouch!
Much like Eph3-12 my angel must have had a coat of armor during my teens and early adulthood. I've given her a couple of hard hits since then too, but she keeps hanging on and coming back for more.
mbtcsw01-Sending one up for your son.
-
I was a goody two shoes as a teen. My mother would stick up for me on that one. I tried so hard to be the opposite of my sister who gave mother a run for her money. My angel had to get busy after I turned 18, not be cause I was bad, but because Satan was trying very hard to discourage me.
-
Wow, January--not going to church to September -worried about the Sunday school classes he teaches! Incredible blessings. Our God Reigns!
-
Perhaps the following quote form C.S. Lewis will ease a few minds here:
"I never had the experience of looking for God. It was the other way round; He was the hunter (or so it seemed to me), and I was the deer. He . . . took unerring aim and fired. And I am very thankful that that is how the first (conscious) meeting occurred. It forearms one against subsequent fears that the whole thing was wish fulfillment. Something one didn't wish for can hardly be that."
