Hello all. I was told about this site by a friend from my other blog site at blogforacure dot com and decided to try to find other triple neg people out there to talk to. I was diagnosed on 8/24/10 and started my first treatment of chemo last week on Thursday of neoadjevant dose dense adriamyicin and cytoxan chemo treatment. ugh, it's been a tough week so far but I'm just trying to get through each day.

Hi April - I posted on the Calling all TN's thread to you as well.

I am so sorry you had to find your way here.........but welcome.  The women here have been wonderful and supportive to me and each other.  I know chemo is hard, but it is doable.  For now I would suggest drinking plenty of water, if it tastes bad try the flavored waters.  My taste buds were a mess and room temp water with lemon was about all I liked.  Also, if you can try to get out and walk everyday - it helps you physcially, but mentally it's a lifesaver.  Other than that listen to your body - if it says sit on the couch and rest, rest.  Your body is going through a lot right now.  (((hugs)))

Welcome, April, so sorry you had to join us, but you will be glad that you did.  The gals are wonderful and will address anything at all with you, for you, hold your hand, calm you down, reassure you - the full menu.  A/C is nasty stuff, I had it too.  I then went on to one Taxol and three Taxoteres, which for me were even worse then the A/C, but you have to do what you have to do.  We all get through it and it will all be behind you soon too.  We're hear for you 24/7.  God speed.

    Linda

April..you won't have any problems talking on this triple negative site...we really like to talk and there is alot of information for you!

So..you are having chemo first?  I didn't but from reading on here having chemo first is a good way to tell if the chemo is working...not a bad thing to know...
