    Does anyone have an extra log for the fire,

    we need a prayer log on for a friend here.

    I am out of logs, But I have cookies fruit

    and lots to drink.

    I brought some tea, coffee and treats to set by

    the fire and share. As we pray and think of all

    those that need to be remember here. We have

    some new people here that need a hug. Heres

    a log for them and others that are hurting.

    17 months of Abraxane and I'm so tired.. please keep me in your prayers .. tossing another log on the fire .. taking a seat to rest.... :-)

    Circle the wagons for all that are in need of friends

    to help them through this time. I know some people

    not doing so well. I will get the fire going and have

    some coffee and hot chocolate ready for anyone

    that would love to join me.

    I have no sayings, I am just mad and cry all the time.  Husband filed for divorce on Tuesday.  Have TE's now.  Need some help feel like I am going crazy.

    Hello wagon girls.........

     It has been a long time..............felt a need to come by the wagon circle tonight for some warmth and comfort..........

    and support for our Nicki (Nicki the Nutty Nurse, Chemosabi, and PaliminoRidesAgain)

     I know that there is a thread in the Stage IV forum but it was here that I first met Nickister........

     and when I think of our friendship over the last several years it was born on this thread and nurished for several years.........

     We have heard from Nickster's DH that her surgery today seems to have been successful and her pain has been relieved.......

    I am still one of the stupid gals that can't seem to get a pic posted but Nickster use to post some wonderful early morning pictures before she would go to work..........(usually involving a cup of coffee)

    I thought that maybe that the old gang and new gang could come by and wish our Nickster well.......she is struggling so........

    Nicki has been a fixtured here at bc.org for so long now.........and I know that she has touched so many here struggling with this damn disease..........

    Nicki please get some rest........now how much you mean to so many people here at bc.org.........you are an amazing gal.........

    it is a stormy night here in North Texas.......very unusal for us to have any rain at all........

     just want you to know that I am thinking about you all the time and praying that you are not in pain..........

    not sure why but for some reason I have been thinking about Secretariat today.......

     there is an offical website for Big Red........what a beautiful animal..........

     throwing on a fresh log onto the fire to keep us warm.......

    I just saw this thread, and once again I'm reminded of how God works.  The opening blog mentions Denise and since I've had a rough couple of weeks I automatically thought the author was referring to me.  After reading several posts, I went back to the original and realized this started in 2006.  Way back in the "good old days" before cancer rocked my world.  Well, God knew even back in 2006 what was in store for me in 2011. 

    I love that I found this for whatever reason.  What a great group of friends I have found here.

    Yes DeniseDay this thread has been around for some time...........

    and it doesn't matter if you thought at first we were referring to you......because this thread has always been about everyone that needed some extra comfort and friendship.........

    if you spend anytime going back and reading this thread it is an insight to a group of us that came together all about the same time..........

    many friendships have endured.......some have not..........some girls have moved on........some we have lost to this dreaded disease........ many girls still post around bc.org to this day.........

    so pull up a blanket........have some hot chocolate or drink of choice........

     Nickster sending you a big hug..........and my warmest wishes..........

    and I will throw another log on the campfire.........

    You know what I have been thinking (yes I have another bright idea).........we should try and have a "circle the wagon" reunion right here in honor of Nicki..........

     Bren if anyone can track people down and get people together it is you.............

     I lost my link to Gina's website some time ago.......I would go there to put in a few words but it would be nice if we could all come together here for all our good friend Nicki..........

    to let her know how much she means to all of us..........she was such strong force here for so long.......that early morning post of hers always made my day seem somewhat normal for a terrible situation I was going through..........I am sure other girls felt the same way I did..........

     so I am going to throw another log on the campfire..........it is chilly tonight and fall is in the air..........

    goodnight circle girls (it feels good to type that).........
