Jazzy - thanks so much for keeping track of all of us! Really looking forward to meeting everyone - although with close to 60 of us attending it will be hard to keep names straight! Ugghh - 9am for breakfast on Saturday morning.........that may be interesting!
-
Amazing job Jazzy! I agree -- 60 people for the meet and greet! WOWZA. Where IS the meet and greet by the way?
-
Looks good! I'm in!
Where is the Meet & Greet Fri night? I'll be coming from our time share so I won't see everyone at the airport.
-
I think Laura (Estepp) is making name tags for all of us.....I am so bad with names...even if I know your name I might forget it in an instant..LOL
WOW Jazzy...this is great
-
Jazzy,
I can't believe how many we are!! What a trip!! Thanks to you and everyone for keeping track of this. Is someone arranging transportation, other than from the airport? Like to Fremont street?
-
You are all amazing. Can't wait to see you all in VEGAS. I will be arriving on Thursday night. If anyone is there please PM me and I would love to meet up with you on Thursday.
Your Friend,
Heymoose (Cheryl)
-
Holy toledo! Are you kidding me with that list? 60 people??? Goodness, that is a lot of pink. Looking forward to meeting all of you!
Heymoose-Kristina and I arrive early, early, Friday morning and plan to hang out by the pool. I'll PM you my cell phone number. Would love to see you.

Judy - we had a party bus last year to take us to Paint the Square Pink and then he picked us up and dropped off a group at the piano bar and others went back to the hotel. I don't know how many people these party buses can hold so not sure what is going to happen there.
In any case, what we did last year was meet in the lobby and had the limos pick us up. When you get 9 people per limo the cost is only around $8 to $9 per person if I remember correctly and that is the same cost as putting 4 people in a cab so it worked out great.
Transportation will not be an issue but it is great to have some small bills on hand to pay for the transportation as one person collects the money to give it to the driver and then we don't have issues trying to give back change to certain people, etc.
We all leave in a group and get back in a group!
-
Sorry - I take that statement back - we don't always get back in one group because there was only 5 or 6 of us left at the piano bar at 3 am when it closed. 2 other groups had left together at different times. Must have been those east coast ladies who couldn't keep up with us west coasters
-
so we need to have lots of small bills on us for our transportation.... so can we use credit cards for our meals and other things?
LOL Jancie....east coaster...that would be me
-
Yes, getting transportation in Vegas is simple..:)... either Limos ( at about 8 bucks a girl) or a bus ( or TWO BUSES this year).. either way... it seemed like we took some form of transportation 1-2 times a day. Please put away about 15$ a day for this. ( cash)... It is easy to get someone to take us all.. 'cause they ALL want our TIP!..:)
I will be making PHONE NUMBER CARDS. They will have your name and cell on them. I will pass these out to everyone at the meet and greet in the evening. This way.. EVERYONE can be in touch if separated.
-
Linda.. I think it might come down to cash for meals.. unless Gisella can get the places to separate checks.. doubtful.
FYI.. for those afraid to carry too much cash. THERE ARE SAFES in all the hotel rooms. You and your rommies can pick a code. Then... each of you can put your money in there. Just bring your own envelope. This is what we all did last year....
-
One more thing...
I will get with you all on the NAME TAG THING.
YES, we do need them.
Again.. give me a little time on this.
xxxooo
-
LOL Laura I just messaged you about this on fb...lol
-
LOL Jaz... off to read FB..hehe
-
whooo hoooo ladies finally got my airline tickets today. I'm so excited about my Vegas vacation... Awesome to see so many gals going this year : )
-
Sandy... we hung up too fast...
... I wanted to know how your mom is doing?
-
She gets her 2nd chemo treatment tomorrow. A part of me wants to go with but I got a head cold this weekend and think it's best to stay away. So far her systems have just been really tired. I'm a touch worried because they took a ultrasound of her thyroid and was suppose to call with results Friday about 5pm and they never called. Just hope she won't get bad news tomorrow. They were checking out the nodgule they saw on the pet or cat scan. One of my sisters is going to go with mom and dad and I told her to call me on my cell so I don't worry all day.
-
HEY LAAAAAAAAAADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE WE ARE ALMOST IN VEGAS!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I AM SO LOOKING FOWARD TO MEETING ALL THE NEWBIES!! AND SEEING ALL THE SISTERS FROM LAST YEAR!!
LINDA...........PAULA DEAN!! HMMMMMMM........NOT SURE HOW I FEEL ABOUT THAT! I AM NOT A FAN OF HER!! BUT I AM A BIG FAN OF YOU PRETTY LADY!!
OK MORE INFO ON THE PIANO BAR. I SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER AND WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT THERE IS A $25 COVER PER PERSON. I TRIED AND TRIED BUT THEY NO LONGER DISCOUNT THAT COVER CHARGE IN ANY WAY! BUT LADIES I CAN PROMISE YOU THIS, IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!! WE HAD A BLLLLAAAASSSST LAST YEAR IT WAS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TRIP!!!!! SO WE NEED TO START ARRIVING BY 8:00 AND WE WILL HAVE TABLES AND ROOM FOR 50 OR SO. ITS GONNA BE SO MUCH FUN AND IF PAYING $25 TO HAVE THE TIME OF OUR LIFE IS THE WORSE PART OF OUR DAY WE WILL ALL BE DOING GREAT! LOL
LUV YA LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE YOU SOON!!!
-
ok.. so Linda does not sound like Paula Dean really... lol.. just a strong accent. Linda"s accent is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY prettier than Paula..hehe...... AND Linda sounds intelligent!!! Paula Dean..um.... I'm just sayin'
(((linda)))
-
Ok... second chemo.. wow... I hope she deals with it ok. I'll say a prayer for her.
-
Tracey - we paid the $25 cover charge last year. Like you said - it was worth every penny.
The hard time we had last year was actually getting reservations because they don't take reservations normally. So for them to reserve a place for 50 people - that is awesome. We will all be together and probably fill up the entire reserved area.
-
Does anyone remember about what they spent on their trip last year? Do most places have cover charges? Have not been to Vegas for at least 4 years now. Last time I went there I was on my way up there and stopped in Wikkiup AZ to use the bathroom. Fell down and broke my arm. Had to be airvaced to the Trauma Center in Vegas. Dr. Silverman did the surgery on my arm. I was going to a Passion Parties Convention. I did make it, just bandaged up, and high on drugs. So I am just getting an idea for this wonderful trip we are planning. I appreciate all the details. All you ladies who have been hard at work putting this together is amazing. I have done some big events in my life. So I appreciate what you are doing and you all are awesome. "NO BREAKING ANYTHING COMING UP THIS TIME"
-
Elizabeth - like mentioned previously - figure $15 per day transportation. $12 for breakfast and lunch - maybe up to $15 for dinner. The brunch at Bellagio is around $36. The cover charge for Piano Bar $25. Don't buy drinks - sit at a penny or nickle slot machine and get free drinks all weekend. You will need to buy drinks at the Piano Bar - they don't provide those for free. I was there from 9 pm to 3 am and my bar tab was only about $35 which isn't bad because drinks are REALLY EXPENSIVE here in Utah. You can spend more for meals if you want to eat at the finer establishments. I typically go cheap on the meals. I tried to use my debit card as much as possible but it really is impossible to use it for the limos and when we are large groups eating out they typically won't split the check unless they are exceptionally nice!
Hope this helps you! I brought with me $200 for gambling - ended up using most of it for limos, etc. and still went home with money but then again I was able to pay for most of my meals with the debit card.
-
I forgot what the Scenia costs - Friday night after the meet and greet. You will need to add that to your list of expenses.
-
I think Scena was $8 per person to reserve the tables plus whatever drinks you buy.
-
Thanks Lilah - I still have memory issues - you know....that darn chemo fog that just won't clear up and go away!
I can hardly wait to see everyone and just get away from the daily stress and grind.
-
It's gonna be a blast whipping around Las Vegas in our limos
