LIFE'S A BEACH!

I think so, it was in front of a house I passed
-
Yum!!!!!!!! Love that smell!
-
wow ... it sure pays to take your camera with you everywhere you go, doesn't it? looks way better that an on the FB post!!!
-
and while this pic isn't technically OF a beach, it was taken while were down the shore this weekend. at one point late afternoon sunday, the sun was coming through the trees in our backyard so prettily that DH and I both grabbed our cameras and went out to see if we could get a good shot. he won
I would add that I saw a certain quality to the picture that he didn't choose to see ... I leave it to each individual to come to their own conclusions!!
-
Ohhh wowzers Marlegal.......I see 2 beautiful crosses in that picture! That's awesome!!
I love Lisa's flower pic too. You're right about taking the camera with you everywhere you go. You just never know when you're gonna make a memory
-
I see a big shiny cross! That's awesome.
-
I LOVE all of the pictures recently.
Here's a few from an impressionist sundown a few nights back.
May they bring you a sense of calm.
May they bring you a sense of peace.
May they bring you encouragement.

I'm up to my ears in a 're-certification' process for the state of Ohio. They changed the whole process from just two years ago when I resubmitted everything at that point. I had the whole thing written up late this afternoon -- only to have it vanish into thin air, rather than be saved. It is truly a blessing to come to our beach and see such lovely images.
Thanks beachies.
Time to start planning our page 600 party.
Anybody got a great theme?
-
those sunsets are wonderful...must be so peaceful there
-
I LOVE the colors, they are so soothing and beautiful.
-
Socallisa your flowers are known as Frangipani in Australia and the Islands of the Southern hemisphere
-
Holy crap! The pictures are so pretty they make my heart hurt!
-
I see the crosses too! Beautiful pics!!! Faithie...your sunsets are amazing!
I loved this sunset...on Lake Michigan, the way the pink lined the bottom of the clouds...hmmm
Hope all you beachettes have a wonderul day!!!
-
Beautiful Arnie...
I am heading by the beach but it is a cloudy cool day in San Diego
Bet I am alone on the beach..
-
Lisa...sometimes those are the best times on the beach...when you have it all alone. Looking forward to seeing some more of your beautiful pics!!!
-
OK, I went to the beach, and I was right, I was the only one there except
for this guy who was just waking up
so I had the beach to myself...no good photos because it was just gray
but right nearby there were flowers...
then I went to the commissary for grocery shopping..
-
Love the photos ladies. Lisa you have figured out how to really capture the beauty of the flower.
-
I'm beginning to really appreciate gray. To the point that in our new place that is what we are going to paint the walls...a deep gray! We have very colourful art and with crisp white trim I think it will look stunning (if I can say so myself!)
-
Lisa.. they're still beautiful!
Barbie I think deep gray would be awesome... When my husband wanted to do our living room in dark browns and blacks I was like "yuck"... but I gave in and it's my favorite room of the house.
-
aaawwhhhh Lisa-------the little bird still looks like he's sleepy
I like the gray too. I bet there was a cool breeze blowin'
Hugs beachies!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
SoCalLisa-grey days at the beach are actually my favorite.
Barbe-that sounds very beautiful, specially with the splashes of color & white. Nice!
-
Like this????
-
Lisa, that bird is such a cutie!
I love gray too. I should have taken a photo tonight, the day was crisp and dry, blue sky with lots of clouds, some looking like they were going to open up and pour on us but never did. There was really no sunlight at sunset so everything was tones of different grays -- it was sooo pretty! And it was so clear you could see for miles. Montauk, NY (the eastern most tip of long island) is about 18 miles due south of us and I could see the northern cliffs. Beautiful!

-
CONGRATS TO FAITHIE!!!!
-
Congrats Faith, you deserve the accolades for the effort!!!!
A bit OT, but I am now a Nana! My daughter had an emergency C-section after being induced yesterday and Zachary is 7 lbs 14 oz and all are well. A bit scary at the end but I wasn't told until it was all over, thank God! (I mean, I knew she was induced, but we were all waiting at my sons for the word to move in as she progressed. The news we got after hours of texting all day, was a 3 hour gap of silence and then a picture of her with the baby!)
-
Wow Barbe is a grandma! Congrats.
-
HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!
Barbe, a safe arrival. A perfect size.
Now all we need are tons & tons & tons of pictures.
How soon are the other babes to make their appearances?
WOW!! A new baby in the world.
I know you'll fill your heart with that new-baby smell.
More details when they are available.
AND LOTS OF PICTURES, pretty please?
xx00xx00xx
-
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Sooooooooooo happy for you and your whole family!!! Love the name Zachary too!!! xoxoxo
