Anyone from Kentucky here?

I have an app't on the 14th with Dr. Jeniffer Huhn, who does radiation in Richmond at PAC, and was wondering if anyone has been treated by her/the team there and could maybe give me some info. It's gonna be about a 45-60 minute one way drive for me, so I hope that that won't be too much to deal with during the tx.

    Hi Dawn,

    I don't know anything about Dr. Huhn, but I am from Kentucky. I live in Lexington and had my radiation at St. Joseph's. I hope it goes well for you. The drive will be a pain, but it should be doable. The radiation treatment itself is quick - just a few minutes and you're out the door.

    Hi Karen.  Thanks for the reply.  I live in London but had my surgery at St. Joe East.  I am wanting to see a female radiation oncologist and it looks like Richmond is the nearest to me.

    Sorry you have such a long drive for radiation. Wishing you all the best with your treatment. You may want to join one of the radiation threads - it was a wonderful source of support while going through radiation.
