6 years ago today I was
totally out of my mind with gloom, doom and dread. Happily today I am celebrating being clean for 6 years. I was diagnosed 8/31/04 and had surgery 9/1/04.
Thank God...so far everything is okay. Just wanted to share

I never, or very rarely, think about my BC. To me, if you are obssessing on it you are not living your life free of worry. It has stolen your peace of mind. This is the first time I've been on a forum in ages. BC has little hold on me. Seriously. Try to get where it isn't even a part of your thinking. Let it go and live, sweetie. It has been ages since my lumpectomy and that is the only treatment I had. I chose no chemo, no radiation and no anti-hormone therapies and I am doing great. IDC = ER+/PR+HER2-
