Social Security Disability - Compassionate Allowances

Ladies:  I was researching some disability info for my sister-in-law (non cancer) & found the Social Security's Compassionate Allowances program for serious conditions, including BC (stage IV).   I didn't know there was such a program, so I'm posting all the info here:

    Do you have to have a terminal cancer to be considered for the SSD??  This is kind of scary because to get SSD it would mean you would have to be a higher stage like IV.  It is amazing what the people on this forum share to help each other.
