    Hello,

I have been on 5 different chemos in the past year, and it appears as though the latest one, Gemzar, is no longer working.  My tumor markers are up, and tests will most likely confirm that the cancer has continued to spread. I have been reading the book outsmart your cancer, and Protocel is discussed as a great alternative. I have been liking everything I have been reading. In addition to doing daily supplements, changing my diet and chemo, nothing is getting rid of this cancer. I am nervous to move away from chemo however but also need to give my body a break. Has anyone used protocel. If people could either message me or let me know on here I would really appreciate it. I am trying to find the best alternatives right now.

    Thanks!

I am also interested in knowing if anyone has tried this. I had DCIS stage 0, but by the time they did the lumpectomy it had just started to break through the wall, so even though the area was minute they still want to do radiation therapy and I don't want them to do it. I read some good things about Protocel and something called Modifilan. Hope someone has some info out there. If not, what does help?

I found this from the National Institute of Health.  http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/cam/cancell/HealthProfessional/page3

The idea that cancer cells show increased levels of glycolysis compared with normal cells is widely accepted, but this change in metabolism is not believed to be a fundamental cause of cancer development. Reviewed in [3-5] In addition, there is no scientific evidence that Cancell/Cantron/Protocel or any of its components can cause cells to produce energy solely by glycolysis or is able to treat cancer effectively. Reviewed in [1,6] Furthermore, there is no evidence to date to support the existence of the bacterium P. cryptocides.[7]

    And I found this http://seniorjournal.com/NEWS/Alerts/2008/20080618-2-FDATells23.htm
