Any creams to reduce scars?

 Does anyone have any suggestions for a cream or lotion that will help lesssen the redness along my incision.   I had a uni mx in j\July and the incision healed very nicely, but there are areas of red.It's not inflamed, just red.  I thought about Metaderm but it says it softens the scar tissue.  I don't have any scar tissue, just a neat thin line across my chest.

    I am currently trying BioOil as it is supposed to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars.  It's too early to tell if it's doing anything, I've only been using it a couple of weeks.  I'll be interested in seeing the responses to this question as well......
