Hi,

I just joined so please forgive me if I havn't got the lingo down yet... I'm learning.  First I would like to thank those who have included me in their prayer circles... and those who have included me in  their conversations... I have really appreciated the sharing and the information.  One of the things that I realized when I was reading was that so many of us are having some of the same side effects... symptoms... ect and I was wondering if anyone would like to share some tips and tricks for alleviating some of it.  Perhaps there is already a conversation going... or a forum ...?  I am still learning my way around this site. so if there is a place or a book like Surviving The Side Effects Of Chemo For Dummies"  Please Please tell me where it is!!!

    CharliMC,

Sorry you have to be here but you will find so much support and information on this site which will help you get through this journey.  Below is a link to the thread that should be of great help to you.  I know it helped me prior to starting chemo.  Keep in mind that we all react differently to tx, so although you will find a lot of info covered here, it doesn't necessarily mean all will happen to you.  Sending you a big hug ((( ))) and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I just tried to follow the link and it won't take me to the thread I wanted to share with you.  Find the forum "Chemotherapy - Before, During and After" and you will find many threads there that will answer some of your questions.
