My daughter-in-law is from Thailand. Is there anyone out there who would like to talk with her. She has just last week had a double mastectomy and will begin chemo soon. I would like for her to be able to speak to someone who is in similar circumstances that speaks her home language.

I just wanted to respond to your post. Unfortunately I am not the person you are looking for but if you post in another forum (newly diagnosed or post surgery) you may get some helpful answers. Wishing you and your daughter in law the best...take care

Thanks for the response. Every good thought helps.

Hi 4antigua2,
My name is Mon, I'm from Bangkok, Thailand, at the moment I base in Auckland New Zealand. I had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer 3 weeks ago at the age of 30. I had my partial mastectomy on Friday and will be on the chemo treatment soon. I would love to talk to her and share the experience.

Hi Mon, My daughter in law has had a double mastectomy and has already just started chemotherapy. She is 40. I will tell her of your response and see if she would like to speak with you. I don't think that she is using the breast cancer discussion but I am sure she would like to correspond with you.
