I have had a sore area on my rib,and my onco wanted me to get a bone scan, and of course as soon as I made the appt.,the soreness dissappeared.I was going to cancell but my onco wanted me to get the scan.I did that today, now I am anxious about the outcome.I feel like a hypocondriac, lately, especially that I just finished my last herceptin, last week.

My back is very tender and sore to the touch,I don't know if this could be the start of lymphedema or something else going on.Did anyone else have this feeling?I am starting to get crazy all over again.Praying for neg.scan.

I had so many pains after Herceptin, especially in my hips and shoulder area. Each time I was so sure it was mets, and after 4 scans in the last 2 years there is nothing there just treatment related pains and early menopause from the chemo. I still struggle and it has been over a year since my last Herceptin.

My prayers are with you, but know that many many have these same pains and come out NED. AND we all freak out waiting for the results.

    Peace

Pain during and after treatment is something almost everyone has.  I know I did.  I've wondered many, many times if this or that pain, numbness, headache, tenderness, etc., etc., is a recurrence.  I still can't be calm about it.  So far, if I wait it out, it goes away or just weakens and isn't a concern any more.  I am keeping you in my thoughts until you get the results.  Please come back and let us know.  Hugs to you, Anna.

Hugs, Anna!  Better to get it checked and get the all clear than to wonder and worry.  I have rib pain on my rads side off and on.  We are here waiting with you. :)

    Thinking of you Anna!

You are right to get it checked out, but I can well imagine your anxiety. I still get freaked out over my various aches and pains, I think it is normall.

Hope all comes back clear for you, keep us updated!

My ribs have been sore off and on since bilat, and it tooks months after surgery to finally calm down.  I'm not sure about your back but obviously, there are many different causes of back pain.

Wishing you a clear scan and quick results.

    Hurray Anna!!!!

And NO you are NOT a hypocondriac (that is so funny because I just said the same thing about myself on a different post LOL!)!  The pain is real and you need to be reassured!

    Congrats on the good news!

    Sharon
