Silly Question...

Ok so report says mass at 3:00 on right breast, so is that on the inside of the breast near the sternum? or on the outside by the armpit? or somewhere else..

    No, its not a silly question at ALL.

    Left and right are as seen by the patient.  So if you are right handed, the doctor will describe this as your right hand too.

    The clock is as the clinician sees it - so 5 o'clock on the left breast is the lower, outer quadrant, and 5 o'clock on the right breast is the lower inner quadrant.
