Fertility after Tamoxifen - Help!

Hi everyone - i really need some advice as feel i am banging my head against a brick wall. I was diagnosed with BC three yrs ago when i was 30 had a mastectomy and 6 mths of chemo and 2 yrs of tamoxifen and zoladex, I finished the tamox and zol 6 mths ago and am desperate for my periods to come back. I have recently got married and we are desperate for a family. I have also had no sex drive for two yrs and this is becoming an issue also. Has anyone else been through a similar scenario and have any comments they would like to make - heres hoping, Em

    Hi Em- I am not in your shoes but I did want to respond since I saw your post was hanging.

    Could a consultation with an endocrinologist or a reproductive endocrinologist be of help in your situation?  You may also want to post in the "get through treatment" or IDC forums where there are more women viewing. I think since this forum is physically lower down on the page it doesn't get as many eyes on it as some others just due to its location.  take care!

    Hey thanks for the tip i did wonder why no-one had responded! i will try it now. My breat care nurse has referred me to a gynaecologist so hopefully they will be able to help, thanks again, Emx

    Could I sugges that you also consult the young ladies at youngsurvival.org.

    There are bunches of pregnancies, new babies, and advice.
