hay stage IIIers
I am moving.. physically moving now until Saturday. here are some latest pictures (of my DH standing next to his incredible kitchen). It's very exciting and absolutely exhausting. My husband lost his father (a man i was incredibly close to) and I lost my mother this month. We are in a bit of a fog. Miss you all.. I am doing great and feel really good (with hair and everything).

Your pictures make me want to move. Ok, not really but the kitchen is beautiful and there is something about clear spaces that just feels good. Good luck in the move.

It's been an incredibly tough summer, due to our losses coupled with move.
i do not suggest moving. I don't know where anything is. I put things away and don't remember where they are. We are kind of kind shell shocked.. there is so much work to do we don't know where to start. So we have started by resting.. ha ha.
I lost my keys. My business keys with the keys to my organ lofts and the master key to all the buildings.... jeez. They are in the house somewhere. Oh well.
We had a little party the other nite, for my daughter and brother in law and their august birthdays. My family and Kim's (DH) family were there and it was good to be together. We sure missed the oldsters who used to sit as a couple at both family's functions, enjoying each other.

Mary, I had to label the cabinets after we redid our kitchen a few years ago. Except for the appliances, everything was in a different place. My siblings who don't live close and only visit a few times a year, still go to the cabinet that held the glasses for 30 years when they want to get something for a drink.
I hope your work keys turn up soon. After our clean up two weeks ago, my daughter cell phone went missing and still hasn't been found. I suspect it got tossed into one of the garbage bags and is now in some landfill. But I suspect your keys are just in a jacket pocket or you put them down and they got covered. :-)

i am definitely going to have to label the cabinets. (and teach the kids how to use the knobs and pulls) I had new keys made yesterday. I forgot to change the trash service, so i have to haul the trash to the old place this morning. what fun
things are coming together tho.. we have some art on the walls and occasional lamps that we can turn on. that really helps to make it feel homey.

I checked out the pictures and the house looks great! I really don't envy the move, though. That has got to be rough. I'm still reaching for the coffee cups in the cupboard that they were in 10 years ago. And I'm very sorry about your Mom and FIL. They have wonderful smiles in the pic. Good smiles say a lot about people.
