LDH levels

Can anyone tell me how LDH levels are used in BC? From what I've researched it is a tumor marker and helps with prognosis - that's all I can find on google about LDH. I've noticed my Onc has ordered this on my req several times. Thanks

I think this test is to see if there has been damage to the organs from cancer or
the medicines used to treat cancer. You can usually find more information on lab tests at www. labtestsonline.org. You can go to that site and do a search for that test.
