Here's another link for information on this topic:

The full-length version is 58 minutes.  If your computer is slow to play large files, shorter segments are available at youtube:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjhT9282-Tw

This is Rick Simpson's story of how he healed himself  of skin cancer by using hemp oil. He began growing hemp and making hemp oil to give away to anyone who needs it.  Rick is alive today and living in Europe -- but not by preference.  He's living in exile because the canadian mounties want to arrest him for growing hemp.  The film is filled with testimonials of people healed with hemp oil.

I think of stories like this whenever I hear dismissive comments towards 'anecdotal' examples, or phrases like 'there's no scientific evidence to support blahblahblah.'  I always wonder where people are looking (or lack thereof) when they say there's no evidence of whatever idea they're resisting.

I also wonder, how many anecdotal testimonies are required to constitute 'evidence-based' science?
