How about; That Song is Driving Me Crazy. It truly does!!!!!
-
Woke up in the middle of the night and took awhile to fall back asleep. A stupid song I hate came to mind while I was laying there ------ Radar Love. Hate that song!
-
One that is truely annoying to me "Copacapana" Barry Manilow "Her name was Lola...." LOL
-
I definitely think this thread is a valuable resource! It not only takes our mind off things we don't want to think about, but it takes us back to a simpler time when BC wasn't even a blip on the radar!
-
When I was in college, a gal in the room below me played "Angie" over & over, with her stereo speakers pointed out into the quad. I have hated that song since.
And what the heck did they throw off the bridge in Ode to Billy Joe?
-
Gypsy's Tramp's and Theives......Cher lol
-
I love this thread...... the worst part is after reading through it I seem to get one of these songs stuck in my head.
The song that plays for CSI - Las Vegas, by the Who / who are you..........who, who, who.....Who, who are you.....who, who............I really want to know.............. When I was younger I used to thing they were saying Neeeeew Orleans.....who who, who who and couldn't figure out how that fit into the song. I'm such a goofball sometimes.
I loved this song and still do because it just brings me back in time, but it can be irritating.
Beth by: Kiss
Beth I hear ya' calling / but I can't come home right now / me and the boys are playing and we just can find the sound................
-
BETH! Didn't you just want to reach right through the radio and smack that guy?!

Suzanne, was that the song David Soul from Starsky and Hutch sang and it became a big hit back in the late 70's?
-

The song, the words, the tune all of it just drives me nuts!!!

"Every step you take, every move you make, I'm watching you",
For anyone who has ever been the victim of a stalker or just victim of a goofy ex-boyfriend who followed you around, that song can give you the willies....even if you were NEVER stalked, it's a scary song.
-
- And for sheer obnoxiousness -
"What's new, pussycat".
Ick
Leah
-
mcbird- LOL! Me, too, so I thought I would share the misery!
-
Leah--Oh No. I haven't thought of that song in years and now you have put it inside my head. Pussycat Pussycat.... I've got flowers and lots of hours to spend with you. ...
Sue
Sure hope that it doesn't take hours to get it out of my head.
-
Okay, that video is more annoying than the song on you tube! LOL!!!
-
The Rihanna song Umbrella , ella , ella, ella, eh, eh, eh. Under my umbrella, ella ella ella. She could do better than that.
-
My husband is leaving on a business trip in the morning and is said to him "Wake me up before you go, go, I thought ohhhh god i hate that song why did i say it, now im singing it in my head probably be up all night with it in my head- who writes these things LOL
-
Sushanna- pussy cat, is so disquisting makes me wanna puke LOL
-
The Pussy cat song, written by Burt Bacharach for the old comedy "Whats new Pussycat". . With that in mind I can appreciate it. Maybe its Tom Jones that gives it the icks.
That wake up before you go go song is on the loser list. How could radio stations even give it play time.
-
This is the best thread!!!
I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet...Carly Simon's "You're so Vain" song drives me absolutely insane!!! He/she is not vain cause the damn song is about them!!!
UGH!!
I'd never heard the "run joey run" song until they played it on Glee (love that show!!)
Holly
-
WellWater, you're so right about "Every step you take... I'll be watching you" !!!
When my son was about 11 he heard that song -- said, "Isn't that creepy? Sounds like a stalker" -- and from then on, whenever it would come on the radio he would sing the bass line along to it, with the words "Stalker's anthem, stalker's anthem, stalker's anthem, stalker's anthem" over and over again!
-
I still like these songs but they have certain BC meanings for me now:
First one was tell me something good by Rufus/Chaka Khan. I was waiting on the results of my biopsy at the time. Radiologist called but didn't tell me something good

Chaka Khan is soooo hot in this video that she even turns me on and I'm a heterosexual

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in1TFrAoLUY&feature=related The other is a UB40 song One in Ten. The song is about the high unemployment in the UK back in the early 80s. I've changed it to "One in Eight" signifying that I am 1 in 8 women that was diagnosed with breast cancer. Technically I am also the 1 in 10 unemployed too but we won't go there

-
I heard Your so Vain this afternoon in the car.
-
I just heard Werewolf of London and now I CAN"T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!!! ARGGGH!!!
