I found a lump last week

I found a lump last week.  It is on my left breast on the side; not in the armpit but on that side of the breast near the armpit.  It is about two inches long and feels like a bean or small thin carrot.  My mamogram and sonogram are scheduled for tomorrow.  I am so scared.  I've not told anyone but my husband and don't want to get everyone upset so have kept it to myself.  I just want to have the results and not keep waiting.

    I wish the best for you...I completely understand what you are going though because I am in that waiting period right now myself. It's very frustrating. I understand about not wanting to worry anyone. I've only told my boss at work and that's only so I could get the time off work for the tests. It would help to have someone to talk to but then again I hate to see my friends worry. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you tomorrow. Remeber, it's normal to feel lumps certain lumps and many of them are nothing to worry about. So hang in there!!!
