Does anyone have any info on Tykerb?  I have been on Tykerb since May, 2010 and I still get Herceptin, which has been almost a year.  I haven't had a period since back in Sept. 2009 when I was on Chemo (Taxotere and Carboplatnum) along with Herceptin.  I had a period on June 16-22 roughly and then last Sunday on July 11th I started again.  It wasn't even 3 weeks since my last one and the pharmacy told me to watch because taking Tykerb could make some problems. Anyone else have the same problem with Tykerb and on Herceptin?

    Sorry I didn't see this post until now.  I am on herceptin and tykerb.  Herceptin for 2 years and added tykerb a year ago.  There are a few of us over on the her2+ thread on this same combo. There is a thread called "Herceptin & Tykerb double whammy" where we have talked about our SE.  TCH killed my ovaries, so I don't have any experience with this, but maybe someone else you find on the thread has......good luck!! lisa

    Hi- I thought I would just chime in here as a Tykerb user- I am on the Tykerb only arm of the ALTTO trial and have been a "user" since Dec. 2009. I had my ovaries removed about 5 years ago so I can't help you with period weirdness. If you don't get any answers here you might do a search for tykerb and ask on another of the Tykerb threads. There don't seem to be so many Tykerb takers and I think the majority are stage IV.
