Would you use Progesterone Cream

Options

I just got a lumpectomy done.  Surgeon will meet me on Monday to give me details of my stage of Cancer and whether all cancer is out.  In the meantime, my sympoms of very low estrogen is coming back because as soon as I heard I had cancer, I stopped using a herbal progesterone cream.  The Progesterone cream used to help me a great deal with these low estrogen problems, which is basically I feel like I am getting paralyzed.  I had been using this cream for several years, after reading Dr. John Lee's book "what doctors don't tell you about pre-menopause".  I think it was really feeling good using this cream, now I am not sure, if this may have been the cause of my cancer.  Ladies, please tell me if you know anything about this cream, whether, while I am recuperating from the surgery and will be eventually going into treatment, whether I should continue to use this cream.  Is this protecting me from cancer (as says Dr. Lee) or is this going to grow my invasive cancer.  The pathology report indicates that I have invasive ductal carcinoma, 3.3cm, no lymph involvement, however, doc says I have many pre-cancer cells still in the breast.

Should I continue to use the progesterone cream or suffer the low estrogen symptoms, which is killing me.

Please tell me something, please, help someone.  Thanks.

Thanks mollyann for the thread and your comment.  I have continuously used Progesterone cream by Emerita since 2004 and especially since last August, I have used it morning and night religiously, so am a little disappointed how I still got cancer.  Why did progesterone not protect me?  I am 52, post menopause, and am wondering if maybe it is not so natural to our bodies to produce protesterone.  I have always felt great when I use this stuff, it is what makes me live.  But where did the cancer come from?  I thought my hormones were balanced, I felt super great.
