I started internal radiation Monday. Today the area is quite warm and feels like I have a sun burn. I told the tech about it, and she was going to tell the Dr. Well I found out after the treament she told the nurse who forgot to tell the Dr. So should I worry about having a feeling of a slight burn and still got the internal treatment?

The nurse seemed a bit worried, he took my temp which was normal, and told me to get a thermometer to check it later in the evening.Karen

I was told not to use any cream or lotion for 4 hours before radiation.  I get up in the morning, take a shower go to treatment and put lotion on in the afternoon.  DId you have any lotion on your breast before your treatment?

No I had no lotion on. I have to be there at 8:30, so no time to use it before the radiation. I do know something was wrong with the treatment because the tech came in and fixed it, and the really scary thing is he did the same thing in the afternoon.
