Teresa I won't be making the trip to Vegas either as DH is still out of work (1 yr later) - we should plan something fun for one night during the Vegas trip - (meet at AmeriStar or Harrah's ..LMAO).
-
I LOVE THAT IDEA DENISE!!! I am just so sad about missing this. I really wanted to make everyone of them! I am totally up for a trip to KC any time at all...you name it!
-
OMGOSH>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BOTH my KC girls will not be in Vegas this year... boo hoo, I understand...... but that does not mean I am happy....NO I AM NOT!
XXXOOO
-
Denise, Teresa and Cookiegal, so sorry you won't be able to make the trip. I couldn't swing it last year so I empathize.
Gisella, Tracey and anyone else who is in on the planning . . . a BIG thank you for all the work you are doing to coordinate all of this. Thank you so MUCH!
-
Hello ladies - As a sista that has been out of the country for two weeks and working her tail off before and after that, I am very much out of the loop. I tried going back a few pages to catch up, but I am still confused. Can someone please summarize what you need from me and who I need to send it to? And what choices need a commitment. I am totally psyched to meet all of you. Sorry to be such a pain wanting a summary. Take care everyone! - Jean
-
I too am kind of lost with the planning. I can't wait to meet everyone. If a summary can be posted with the agenda and prices it would greatly appreciated. Thanks Jennifer
-
Jean and Jennifer (and anyone else who hasn't yet done so): the organizers are doing a head count for the activities, The current plan/schedule is listed below (if the actual venue is not yet decided just decide if you want to join the group at that time and respond accordingly). Prices have not been posted yet.... can't get prices til we know the #'s (a chicken and egg thing?
PM Jazzygem and tell her which of the following you'll attend.
Friday:
- Meet and Greet at Serendipity's (note: there has been talk of making this dinner at the buffet at Planet Hollywood -- possibly having everyone buy a "band" that gives you admission to any buffet in 24 hours -- so we would get dinner on Friday night and breakfast Sat AM for one price)
- Coyote Ugly at NY-NY (note: since the original posting last week this event may be switched to a club at the Venetian where tables can be reserved -- the cost would be around $8 per person for this if I understood that right)
Saturday:
- 9:00am Breakfast
- 6:00 pm drinks and possible dinner
- 9:00 pm NY-NY Piano bar
Sunday:
- Mid day, brunch at the Bellagio
- Freemont Street
- Late evening, departure drinks
-------------------------------------------------
Also -- PM Laura (Estepp) with your cell phone # -- she is making cards for us all to have/carry around while in LV so we can always find each other. Oh she also wants to know what your arrival information is (time and flight, etc, I think) so she can coordinate the meeting up part at the airport on October 1 (thanks for reminding me Jean
------------------------------------------------
Finally -- if you plan to stay at Planet Hollywood and haven't yet reserved your room, DO IT NOW! The latest is that they will release rooms they are holding for us on August 15... so book by then. See the header of this thread for all info regarding making reservations.

So sorry to hear that some of our TA TAS are not able to attend this year, you will be missed.
Thank you to everyone planning our weekend reunion. You are doing a great job.
Lilah the summary is great, I really appreciate it. I will need to coordinate the schedule with my roommates.
Jazzy, I will be in touch soon on the events we will be attending, or I will be attending by myself.
Sending (((((HUGS and PRAYERS)))))

P.s. if any one can explain to me how to add a avatar, I would appreciate it.
-
I just wanted to put it out there that Peggio and I will have a suite with a kitchen at PH and we will be happy to entertain those who would prefer to stay in and have a quite evening on Saturday [perhaps Friday also, depending on what happens after the Meet and Greet.] You can PM me if you are interested. We know some might be coming fresh from surgery or some type of procedure and not feel up to partying, and so this is an option...
-
How lovely Deborah!
-
great to see your face Jennifer!
Lilah! THANK YOU for steppin up and helping with the refresher..
DEBORAH... YOU AND PEG HAVE to go to the Piano Bar...
....
-
Also.. just because you start out joining the nightime activities.. does NOT mean you have to stay there all night... Heck... I left the piano bar early last year as I was TIRED...LOL
-
Laura: No.....no...no....I have nightmares about being in the conga line at midnight at the piano bar in Vegas, flashing my hooters....NIGHTMARES....and I wake up in a cold sweat...thankful it was all a bad, bad dream.
I wonder where I got that subliminal message? Huh?
-
No, no, Laura....I have had nightmares about being in a conga line at the Piano Bar in Vegas at midnight, flashing my hooters for the crowd...a NIGHTMARE! And then I wake up in a cold sweat, grateful that it was only a bad, bad dream.
-
LOL Deborah -- OMG is THAT what you guys did last year at the Piano Bar???!!!???
-
I agree with Laura, Deborah -- you guys HAVE to come even if for just a few hours. I'm not a big drinker and certainly do not CONGA especially topless.
-
I don't know, my lips are
I never went to the Piano Bar....I'm just sayin'.....there might have been rumors....I'm sure they were fabricated though....
-
LOL Deborah
