"Gag me with a spoon", "OmeeGod", "Like Totally" "Barf me out!!" I ACTUALLY SPOKE LIKE THAT IN SCHOOL!!! So 80s!! I "lived" in the valley growing up and actually spoke like that!! I was such a valley girl. I must admit every now and then an 80s word slips. I just told my husband the tv show he wanted to watch last night was....okay, get ready....BUNK!!!!  AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! And the worst part of it was he actually said "No, it's not!!" LOL!!

    Now, I have a suggestion.

You know that CD we're going to burn of all these songs? Well, a copy should be given to every person who says to us either,

    "You're so strong!"      or

    "You look really good".

Leah_S- OK, I'm going to need like a hundred copies just for the "You look so good!" people.  Who the hell knew breast cancer made you so darn pretty?  Maybe someone should make a song about that! Foot in mouth

When I was little I hated "Country Roads"

and I completely agree that any BeeGees' song is bad!  My mom used to call them The Singing Dolphins!

So many awful songs!  But I can't believe no one has mentioned "Afternoon Delight"...

Maybe it wasn't played as constantly everywhere else -- but it was nonstop in this restaurant I worked at in the summer of (I think) 1976...

Hate, hate, hated it!  And the crowning touch of irritating stupidity was that they said "workin' up a appetite" -- not "an appetite" -- the song was totally horrible in every way, and then "a appetite" was the nails-on-chalkboard moment...

SunnyCoconut -- the same duo who wrote "Afternoon Delight" wrote "Take Me Home, Country Roads"!!!  Horrible song hall of fame!!!

I had to go look up "My Ding A Ling" too - baaaaaahahaha - I think it's hysterical, especially Chuck Berry's expressions, LOL!!!  Here's the link...  Chuck Berry

It's going to take me all day to look up all these songs - I need the laughs!  It's so much more fun than looking up credible breast cancer sources anyway!

Considering my post-mx "Barbie" recon, I'm not feeling glamorous in pink and definitely NOT feeling that life in plastic is fantastic... Aqua's Barbie Girl  Yell

Oh, no, no, no, no, Queen songs are the best Tongue out  But even this die hard fan has to admit that some of their songs are veeeeery annoying Sealed.

How about that country music singer Willie Nelson: You were always on my mind.  Yeah, I abused you, kicked you in the butt, cheated on you, but don't worry, you were always on my mind. Pewwww

I absolutely hate Kenny G.  Every wedding I went to, they would play that while everyone was eating dinner.  His songs are like nails on a chalkboard to me.  So, when I got married, I told the DJ I wanted some cool music during dinner (blues and old stuff like BB King, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr, etc).  I told him absolutely NO KENNY G.  I would personally throw something at him if he played it and I don't care if some nice old lady asked him to play it.  Don't even bring the CD!!!

The other band I make fun of is Air Supply.  My friend and I have this obnoxious dance we do, when we hear it.  It's like bad sex music from the 80's or something like that!  LOL!!!

I also don't like Katie Perry and my husband loves her music.  She's a cute girl, but her songs are so annoying to me.  I skip them, when I'm playing IPOD DJ on roadtrips.  I wonder if my husband notices her songs somehow never play!  LOL!!!

I love reading what everyone else dislikes.  It's funny how we have such diverse hatred of music! LOL!!!

I'm so glad someone mentioned "Feelings" on this thread.  My mom hates that song and we used to laugh when we'd hear it. What an annoying song!!!
