Has anyone tried this?  I am recovery from my bilateral masectomy and gearing up to start Chemo.  I have not heard much about these and thought if they really worked, the information would be every where.  I found a short video online and the look ridiculous but of course the prospect of not losing my hair is appealing.  Does anyone know more or have any opinions?

    Hi, Yes.  I used them during my chemo treatments from August, 2009 to December, 2009.  While my hair did thin, it was never bad enough for me to require a wig or other head covering.  For me, it was a good choice.  I'm glad I used them.  There is a message thread titled "Cold Cap Users, Past & Present to save hair."  Most of the people posting in this thread are using the cold caps or have used them.  You may be able to get some good information by posting there.  Good luck to you!
