    What A Wonderful World

I listened to 2 songs that gave me comfort, hope, and strength through my treatment and beyond:

    1) Desert song, by Hillside (video is on youtube)

    Verse 1:
This is my prayer in the desert
And all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in the hunger in me
My God is a God who provides

    Verse 2:
And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
    There is a faith proved
    Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flames

    Chorus:
    And I will bring praise
    I will bring praise
No weapon forged against me shall remain

    I will rejoice
    I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

    Verse 3:
And this is my prayer in the battle
And triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

    Bridge:
    All of my life
    In every season
    You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

    Verse 4:
This is my prayer in the harvest
    When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be empited again
The seed I've recieved I will sow

    2) Pressin On, by Bob Dillan (not his original but a cover version)

    Well I'm pressing on
    Yes, I'm pressing on
    Well I'm pressing on
To the higher calling of my Lord.

Many try to stop me, shake me up in my mind,
Say, Prove to me that He is Lord, show me a sign.
What kind of sign they need when it all come from within,
When what's lost has been found, what's to come has already been?

    Well I'm pressing on
    Yes, I'm pressing on
    Well I'm pressing on
To the higher calling of my Lord.

Shake the dust off of your feet, don't look back.
Nothing now can hold you down, nothing that you lack.
Temptation's not an easy thing, Adam given the devil reign
Because he sinned I got no choice, it run in my vein.

    Well I'm pressing on
    Yes, I'm pressing on
    Well I'm pressing on
To the higher calling of my Lord.

Both of these songs reminded me that I must keep "pressin on" and that God is still with me in "every season" - I still have a reason to rejoice and worship.

    Healer of our every ill,

    Hope for all our sorrows,

    And hope for our tomorrows.

hat a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on the everlasting arms; what a blessedness, what a peace is mine, leaning on the everlasting arms.  Refrain: Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms; leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.  O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, leaning on the everlasting arms; O how bright the path grows from day to day, leaning on the everlasting arms. (Refrain) What have I to dread, what have I to fear, leaning on the everlasting arms? I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, leaning on the everlasting arms. (Refrain)

    Hey Ladies,

Me and my mom loved to song

Save a Place for me by Matthew West:

Don't be mad if I cry
It just hurts so bad sometimes
    ‘Cause everyday it's sinking in
And I have to say goodbye all over again
You know I bet it feels good to have the weight of this world
    Off your shoulders now
    I'm dreaming of the day
When I'm finally there with you

Come to the water, stand by My side.

I know you are thristy, you wont be denied

I felt every tear drop when in darkness You

cried. And I go to remind you for those tears

I died. And Jesus said," Come to the water,

stand be My side, I know you are thristy.

    You wont be denied. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I hear you say your heart is aching
You've got trouble in the making
And you ask if I'll be praying for you please
    And in keeping with convention
I'll say yes with good intentions
To pray later making mention of your needs
But since we have this moment here at heaven's door
We should start knocking now, what are we waiting for?

Let us pray, let us pray, everywhere in every way
Every moment of the day, it is the right time
For the Father above, He is listening with love
And He wants to answer us, so let us pray

So when we feel the Spirit moving
    Prompting, prodding and behooving
There is no time to be losing, let us pray
Let the Father hear us saying
What we need to be conveying
Even while this song is playing, let us pray
And just because we say the word, "Amen"
It doesn't mean this conversation needs to end

Let us pray, let us pray, everywhere in every way

    [ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/let-us-pray-lyrics-steven-curtis-chapman.html ]

Every moment of the day, it is the right time
Let us pray without end and when we finish start again
Like breathing out and breathing in, let us pray

Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence
As our prayers draw us near
To the One who knows our needs
Before we even call His name

Let us pray, let us pray, everywhere in every way
Every moment of the day, it is the right time
For the Father above, He is listening with love
And He wants to answer us, so let us pray

Let us pray everywhere in every way
Every moment of the day, it is the right time
Let us pray without end and when we finish start again
Like breathing out and breathing in, let us pray

Precious Lord, take my hand             Lead me on, let me stand             I'm tired, I'm weak, I'm lone             Through the storm, through the night             Lead me on to the light             Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home             When my way grows drear precious Lord linger near             When my life is almost gone             Hear my cry, hear my call             Hold my hand lest I fall             Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home             When the darkness appears and the night draws near             And the day is past and gone             At the river I stand             Guide my feet, hold my hand             Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home             Precious Lord, take my hand             Lead me on, let me stand             I'm tired, I'm weak, Lord I'm worn             Through the storm, through the night             Lead me on to the light             Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
