A BOUQUET TO BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY

Maybe a few Josta berries for something different

Ausable River in Oscoda Michigan

The golden sundown was last week.
Our little village sits on a wide spot of the bay of Green Bay. (The actual bay and not the city by the same name an hour south of here.)
Here are a few more from the same evening.
The boat just kept tacking back & forth, back & forth.

I sitll don't know enough about photography to 'manipulate' what is there.
I can't quite figure out why sometimes the photo comes out with blue water. Another night it can be orange. Here we have gold.
I knew that it was gorgous at the time -- and seeing it here I can relive that beauty that I experienced....... I just long to know how to capture what I'm seeing to it's best advantage.
Well. I'm probably not explaining myself very well. I just point and click and hope for the best.
I'm a slow learner..... thankfully I have a 'patient' subject.
Carollyn it's fun to see what you've been up to. Thanks for sharing.

Faith, you know I"m your biggest fan. Keep on doing just what you're doing. Like me, as a fellow artist, we try not to analyze "how" we get what we get, we just take joy in that we "got" it!
Carollyn, I have to ask what is in the water in the last pic??? The area looks very much like where I live in Ontario. Had to be Michigan!
-
Wow Looks like everyone is managing to get away for summer fun.Beautiful photos ladies.
On Tues tinyfishy and I are heading to the jungle in Panama to celebrate his birthday. This is the hotel we will be staying in.It is famous for birding.
-
Amazing resolution!!! I feel like I could reach out and touch the leaves....
I can't wait to see daily pics! (Hint, hint)
Have a blessed, pain-free holiday mum!
-
Barb it is an "island" in the Ausble river in Michigan. There used to be trees here and a few years ago they blew down in a storm and this is what remains. They put a flag there and the birds like it.
Mumayan what a great picture I agree with Barb the resolution is fantastic, can't wait for more views!!
-
I was gone all day
first to the natural history museum for some bling
then to the rose garden for some ....
-
Beautiful pictures ladies!!

Well beachie babes. I've made it thru security and am about to board..... First solo flight since all the recent madness. Feeling a bit extra loonie. Attempting to calm myself about all that is ahead this week. Those of you who are prayin' folk -- I'd appreciate yours. The rest of you can think a good thought on my behalf...or send happy vibes. My hubby keeps me sane... I'm one cracked pot on my own.
-
Thanks ahead of time.
-
Awwhhh Faithie---we sure will be sending up those prayers. I bet you've been able to wave at quite a few angels up there this trip, huh? I'm praying for your strength, stamina, peace of mind and heart for the week. I know it's harder when DH isn't with you. You should have pinned me down to fly out and help.
Big hugs to all you beachies!!
-
Maybe we can all work on this castle with good vibes, good positive thoughts, prayers and everything that is good to help Faithie get through this week.
-
Wow that is a work of art. I only know how to make the bucket of sand kind. Can I watch in awe? Good thoughts going to Faith for this week.
-
Beachy (or is it peachy, hehehe, thanks Shiny) hugs to all.

Hey Faith ... while in Vegas, here's a shot of 28 ladies who met up in 2008 in Vegas for the time of their lives - this was our PJ party night - the hotel gave us a suite for the event, no charge. Pulling that C card has its advantages ladies ... use it when needed!!!
-
I MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Safe & sound in Vegas, in a suite that is outta this world! Can't even begin to sort out how "fortunate" I feel tonight.
Much love.
Glad to 'see' everyone having such fun as I check in tonight.
If I start getting reflective, I'll start a new Vegas fountain-of-tears and that might not make me look all rested and charming for tomorrow's festivities.
So I'll just 'w-a-v-e' at everyone and send out a heart-felt hug to each & all!!!!!
xx00xx00xx00xx
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
[that's mainly for my own benefit, the strength & courage, but anybody reading along that needs some, there's enough to go around when we all stick together!!]
Can't believe I'm the only one in this suite. There's enough room for at least 15 to be seated at the same time in my living area -- I kid you not. This traveling on 'corporate account' is something all together new to me. LOLOLOL I hope that I never get used to this kind of treatment. It's just so much fun to feel like royalty for the week!
