THE 2ND TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS!!

Awwww Kristin... let's wait and see what interests people. The proposed schedule that Jazzy posted says Fremont street and/or show on Sunday night... but maybe the schedule can be rejiggered a little? I know it's all just in the planning stages right now...
-
I was able to get free admission for us at Coyote Ugly, will try again this year once I have a count. I believe the Piano bar had a cover charge of either $10 or $15 per person. Show prices vary depending upon the show. I would love to se O this year then again Freemont street is also lots of fun.
Gisella
-
Love the plans so far. Will PM Jazzy and let her know to count us in. Can't wait!
-
I definitely want to do Freemont and I know Susie Loves Freemont as well...so I guess I will add that to the list...Any discounted (or not) cover charges we get is WELL WORTH THE MONEY because when we are all together it is the MOST FUN!!! We are going on this trip to be with eachother...to meet in person...to give countless hugs that we can't do over the internet....this trip is for US...THE TATA SISTERHOOD! There will be times where we will want to just hang out with our roomies...or we might get together with others and do other fun things. Some will want to hang out at the pool...others might want to play the slots...Heymoose, Quinn, and I had a blast the last night playing slots!! You will be AMAZED at the unconditional love you will experience the minute you lay eyes on eachother. This is such a special time for us! I know last time I wish I had spent more time with everybody...it just didn't seem like we had enough time together, so this time I want to make sure I am with you all as much as possible!!!
Last year some of us went on the Dolphin tour and it was SOOOOO WORTH IT!!! I would love to do something like that again!! I have my 8x10 picture of us petting the dolphin...it sits in my office and reminds me of what a wonderful time I had with my TaTa Sistas!!
My favorites were...Meet and Greet (WOW WHAT AN AWESOME FEELING MEETING EVERYBODY FOR THE FIRST TIME!!) Piano bar, Belagio Brunch (ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB YUMMMM!), Dolphin tour, last night drinking and visiting at the outside bar.
If you have posted here on what you are 100% committed for...please PM me the same. I will be making the lists from the PMs that I get.
OK I have added Freemont Street to the list...some of you might want to do something different then, but if there are enough of us we could secure a bus like last time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everybody PLEASE PM me and let me know which you are COMMITTED to do.
Friday:
- Meet and Greet at Serendipity's
- Coyote Ugly at NY-NY
Saturday:- 9:00am Breakfast
- 6:00 pm drinks and possible dinner
- 9:00 pm NY-NY Piano bar
Sunday:
- Mid day, brunch at the Bellagio
- Freemont Street
- Late evening, departure drinks
OK girls please think about this BEFORE you PM me, so we won't be making too many changes.
VEGAS HERE WE COME!!!!
THE TATA SISTERHOOD ROCKS!!!
HUGS! Jazzy
Kristen -- I just ran a quick check: Cirque du Soleil appears to have a few shows that do 4:30 PM matinees on Saturdays... so maybe we could organize a group to go then? That way we don't have to miss out on the other stuff. A quick check on line and it looks like KA and MYSTERE both have 4:30 PM matinees -- though I've seen them both I'd see either again as both are spectacular. What do you think? If we see a 4:30 Matinee we can certainly make it to join the others for drinks/dinner at around 6 PM. Just a thought...
-
And if that doesn't work (because now that I'm looking at the actual Cirque site I'm NOT seeing matinees) I'm thinking we could do a 7 PM show on Saturday night (these shows are done without an intermission and do not run more than 90 minutes)... then join everyone at Piano Bar after (so miss dinner/drinks on Saturday night).
Here's the schedule for the main Cirque Shows on Saturday, October 2:
O -- at Bellagio -- 7:30 PM
Mystere -- at Treasure Island -- 7 PM
Viva Elvis (a new one) -- at Aria -- 7 PM
Ka -- MGM/Grand -- 7 PM
The Beatles/Love -- Mirage -- 7 PMI did not include Zumanity because I've heard it's not great (their atttempt to go "adult" -- ew). Except for the Elvis show, about which I know nothing because it just opened in December, all of these shows have fabulous reviews/reps...
Gisella -- if enough want to do something like this maybe we could add this in to the weekend's plans? That would leave Sunday night/Fremont Street for those who want to experience that.
-
I am 100% for all scheduled activities....not really into shows...sightseeing and slots interest me.
-
IM WITH LINDA!! IN FOR EVERYTHING 100% BUT I DONT WANT TO COMMIT TO SHOWS. THANKS SO MUCH G!!!
LILAH, I UPDATED THE HOTEL LIST WITH THAT CORRECTION. THANKS SO MUCH!!
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF CLAUDE IS STILL GOING? I HAVE A NEWBIE WHO NEEDS A ROOM. I PMd CLAUDE SO I AM WAITING FOR A REPLY.
Hello again ladies, how it worked last year, if a group wanted to do something different, they would get together plan it and do it. If we add all the different stuff everybody wants to do the schedule will get kind of crazy. I do want to do a show but I remember Saturday being kind of crazy because by the time we were done with breakfast it was mid-day. It was really nice to just sit by the pool and hang out......so I rather do a show on Sunday If anybody puts something together for Sunday let me know otherwise I am Freemont bound.
Jazzy thank you for volunteering to get me a head count. I only need a head count for the activities I need to make reservations for. Thank you thank you
I will talk to you guys later
Hugs
JAZ!!
I just got home and online to update the .. TATA list....:).. I see you have taken that job over.... WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
LOL
THANK YOU!
I will NOT be posting anymore 100%TATA to the thread ladies.. Just send all your Votes to Jaz!!!
I am not into shows... so I won't be going to that. Everything else on the list is 100% perfect.. so I will be joining. I liked the time we had by the pool that day too Gisella.. it was so great to chill.
I agree with Janet.. we just seem to not get to be all together as much as I would have liked. Everyone doing different things..
I think this is why the BC EVENT... the Piano Bar and the Bellagio where my favs.... we are all together..
I did like the long talks I have with a few of you dear ladies.. I TREASURE those. Those morning talks in the " coffee room"... PRICELESS.... XXXOOO
Jaz... THANK YOU for doing the lists.. and such... GIsella.. Thank you for setting the pace... Just to see what we are doing is a great thing for the new ladies... just so they have a plan..:)
I have... get this....4 trips in the next three months..WHAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I am going to be BROKE... but I promise myself and God, that I would no longer say thing like......." well, I really should not do this or that... I need to keep that money in the bank for kids college.... rainy days.... WHATEVER......"
I am not longer going to live that way. I decided to let Him worry about the money part.. and I would LIVE my life... not put it on hold ... for a better opportunity...
xxxooo
OH. LADIES......
The way we keep in touch in Vegas.... when we are all in hotel rooms or running around the hotel... is CELL NUMBERS.
REMEMBER.. I am making new cell number cards this year. JUST like last year.
You all send me your cell numbers you will have with you in Vegas... I put them with your name and screenname.... and then I laminate the cards. I give each one of you these at the MEET AND GREET. ..
IF you do not want to be on this card... due to your personally privacy... just let me know this too.
I carry my card from last year in my purse to this day... thee have been about ten times I have had to grab it to call a TA TA while in the car... or at work...LOL... These cards are PRICELESS... and they make it so NO ONE GETS LOST in Vegas!!!
-
Hey Laura THANKS SOOO MUCH FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!!!! On the phone list, can you also list those who accept text messages. I love to text and sometimes in a busy casino it's easier to communicate.
I am gonna say this again...please don't post here to tell me what you are game for...
"If you have posted here on what you are 100% committed for...please PM me the same. I will be making the lists from the PMs that I get."
It's just so hard to go through all of the posts to see who mentioned if they are committed to a certain event...so please PM me what you are committed for!!!
Thanks so much Stephanie, Gisella, Tracey, Laura, and Anniesse!!
Remember...the Freemont Street is separate from the group activities...but please let me know if you are game for it. Because transportation is tricky there.
If you decide to go to a show or any other tourist activities remember it's separate and I am more than happy to make the list for you...just let me know what, when, and price.
OK girls it's all coming together!! WOO HOO!!!!
HUGS! Jazzy
I LOVE how all of us are so smart!!
Also Lilah for getting show info and Krisina for wanting to help as well...I just think we all ROCK!!! WOO HOO!!!
-
HEY SUNSHINE??????????????
WHERE ARE YOU SWEETY???????????????? Climbing Mount Everest? Backpacking around Europe.... Pole Vaulting the Grand Canyon?????
HAVE YOU GOTTEN YOUR AIRFARE???????????????????????
-
Can somone say what you're referring to with "Freemont Street?" Is this a shopping district? A show? A strip club????
-
Hey...everyone..I have a little dilema. My daughter can no longer go. Does anyone need a roomy? Please advise. We where just about to get our air fair. And she said she can't....kids!! Well let me know if someone wants a roomy. Cause this hotel is too expensive for me. I could always look into other hotels to see if I can afford those.
Thanks!
-
Fremont Street is downtown Las Vegas... a trip! They have like two blocks that are enclosed and all along these two blocks are casinos and the enclosure is an overhead canopy that also serves as a digital screen for a show that happens every hour (a light and sound show) -- it's very fun! Kind of like being in a carnival atmosphere.
-
Lilah thanks. Not a strip club, eh? C'est la vie.
-
I'm in 100% and so is my roomie Sylvia! There's alot of planning going into this and I just want to say how much I appreciate all the effort. I know it can't be easy organizing a weekend that has blossomed from some 20 or so ladies last year to over 50 this year! WOOOOHOOOOOOOO! This is going to be a BLAST !!!!!!!!
Terri
Hi Ladies! I've been away this past week at the beach...I know... it's a hard life! Anyway, just getting caught up on the plans and all. I'll PM Jazzy but I am in 100% and can't wait! (Better start increasing my vitamin regime and staying up later so I can keep up with all you west coasters)
-
Hello Journey
Hope you enjoyed the beach. PM me an update on you.
You are so right about getting our bodies accustomed to Vegas time and staying up late. They are what? 2 hours behind us (3 for you)...so at midnight in Vegas it will be 2am and 3am for you and I....ouch!!!! That is going to be hard for us southern gals.
I was on a ladder this week and the ladder fell with me on it. Doctor xrayed my left foot and my neck...nothing broken, but wearing a little boot on my foot. I guess strength training and running really paid off. I should be back to running in no time.
Well time for church...ta ta TATA sister
Love Linda
-
Just PM ....I'm 100% You take a little break & end up with a few pages of catch up!! Just got back from the beach-a friend of hubby's gave us their last part of their vacation home to rest & enjoy-it was beautiful!! Plus got a few early Birthday gifts,but once we got home...they disapeared....LOL LOL Guess I'll have to wait till Tuesday-13th...is that a small hint LOL LOL Still dealing with some rash issues,but expecting a call Dermotolist..of course they called while I was gone,but didn't leave a message-remember there was a 3 month wait-so...hopefully will hear something tomorrow.
81 days till Vegas Girls WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
Wow you all are amazing! Thanks for all the planning. I'm a little behind (ended up with a lovely infection in the left breast--2nd one in 2 months).
I'm wondering once all is planned if we can get an estimate of costs for each of the meals/activities. I'd hate to show up with too little money!
Julie
