Archiver???

I was surprised to come across this "Breast Cancer Awareness Archiver" on the internet.  It is a copy of posts some of us made previously on BC.org.  I don't see BC.org mentioned anywhere.  My own posts are among them.  Although they don't have our avatars or names, you can pick the names out of the posts, anyway.  Who set this up?

I  just noted your post and mine on the Moderators page.  I decided to edit my info to protect my identity.   Will be logging off for good as soon as I get a  response from moderators.

I have had posts made on a usenet newsgroup under my actual name picked up and repeated on a website without attribution  or permission. I don't know if this is legal, and it isn't particularly ethical, but it happens.

There are threads on several forums re this site, this is what member "Day" wrote on the recon forum:

It is actually a "money site". Someone creates a website. Puts enough content on it and does a littel search engine optimization so it can get on the search engines. Makes an adsense account with google. Google puts advertisements related to keywords of the website. Website owner makes money per click on the advertisements. Google doesn't look favorable on these websites, and if they are reported they are completely removed from searches. There is no virus on the website, so you can look at it with no concerns.

Personally, what I wrote here I gave permission to breastcancer.org to publish. Not to anyone else. So, yes, I have the right to complain. So do you.

The mods are aware of the problem.
