THE 2ND TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS!!

Hannabears - I guess you'll be shopping! My DH actually likes LV better than I do so its kind of a double insult that I'm going and he's not. LOL! I offered that he could come after and I'd stay an extra couple of days...he said no but maybe he'll change his mind. Just bought a plane ticket - see y'all there!
-
Good for you, CS! You belong with us in LV!
-
So glad you will be there CS! Sorry your hubby was bummed... but it's for the best. I was going to have my BF meet me after but we talked about and decided this was a weekend for me... and he and I will go another time.
-
I am one whose DH is coming along, we are going 10/1 - 10/8. We have friends who live in Vegas, I will stay with DH at our time share at night and hang with the BC girls for the day while he golfs with our friends. Then I'll connect up with him on Monday when all the BC girls leave and spend the remainder of the week with him.
My advice? Do what works for you.
-
Just paid for my tickets - and the price was actually LOWER than when I made the reservation yesterday - YIPPEE!!
-
Tracey, I know a few of the people from here from posting on other boards. I loved your video and I just voted for you, too.
I will be thinking about ya' all partying in Vegas in October and am already planning for the 2011 trip. 2010 is the year they layoff fairy came to our home. She actually started with me in 2009. She better damn well be outa here by 2011!!!!

Thanks gals for telling me what you're doing with DH's and BFs. My DH seemed to get over it pretty quickly so I guess its all ok. We're going on a camping trip this week together so that'll give us nice together time right there.
I realize I have to read back a few pages to see what some of the references are but it sounds like some good things happening for some of you to which I'll add a "woo-hoo!" just because I can.

-
LOL Cindy - you're adorable.
-
Mona-I am doing something similar. My husband will be joining me on Monday and we will stay for an extra couple of days. The best of both worlds!
-
I am still voting every chance I get.....VOTE for Tracey
Lilah, love your new picture
WOOOHOOO Jazzy....so glad you got the Celebrex and it is working
welcome to the new sisters joining us in Vegas
-
I heard what a blast this was last year and am thinking I may have to join you! Had surgery in January; just finished chemo last week; on to Herceptin ...
What are the details as far as time to arrive on Friday and depart on Monday? I need to work out the details before I commit.
-
I think it's flexible, Frosty -- when you arrive and when you depart. Most will try to get there early Friday; some are only able to stay through Sunday, others are leaving on Monday (I think most are staying through Monday but if you can't that's okay). Time of departure is up to you.
Linda -- thanks

-
Jazzy, I'm SOO happy that you're feeling better!! Good for YOU! Don't you get sick of all the pills? One for this, and another to counteract the side effects of the first . . . . Sheesh! Sometimes, I just want to tell them, NO MORE!!
Deborah, thanks for the quick link. Makes it so much easier!
-
Hi everybody, I don't post on here much so this is a little awkward but I just got back from Vegas last night and one of the many lovely billboards has an add for strip classes. I wondered if there might be a group that would like to take a class. Sounds kinda crazy but when I thought about it, I figured "hey, we're a bunch of women trying to find our beauty again" this may be a really healthy thing to do. I'm thinking if there's a group of us, we might be able to get a private class. Anyway, if anybody is interested I'll look into it...

Welcome all new TA TA SISTA'S!!!!! Vegas is gonna be such a blast-the group has more than doubled & still keeps growing!!! With all that each of us has been thru & still fighting, it is so awesome to know we have each other!!
Jazzy-Great News!!! Tracey-voting always-finger's crossed!!
I've been home for a week now & don't mean to complain, but....how is it that I come home from the hospital with a infection????? Are you all ready for this, not only am I healing from the surgery, but have to deal with "RING WORM" now & it's On my hini!!!! I had problems while in the hospital & showed the nurses, but thought it was just blister's from lying on the bed & then onto the chair, I did get up & walk, but still there is time spent lying-the blistors bled alot. My 2nd day home they just got out of control. I have about 15 on one side & 12 on the other-NOT FUN!!! A fungis as I looked it up on computor & the anti-bactioral cream I'm using doesn't seem to have any affect-ARGGGGG!!! 1st I get MRSA when this all started 3 1/2 years ago & now a carrier, then this...I thought hospitals were suppose to be sanitzed!!!! Ok, enough whining, gonna have to see Dr. I guess to get this undercontrol!! Thanx for letting me vent!!
Power Prayers always to all of you working thru what ever isin your paths!! 94 days till VEGAS
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
Aw Suzy that sucks! Unbelievable! Hope it goes away soon.
Julie -- LOL you crack me up! I'm not sure I'm ready for stripper classes (god knows my body is not -- still need to lose weight!) but I like the spirit of the thought!
-
{{{{{SUSIE}}}}} I'm so sorry. You must be some sort of germ magnet or something!. I am so sorry you have to deal with this on top of just plain old healing!!!! I really look forward to meeting you in person. By then all this ring worm, hernia, & crap will be done with and you will be livin large!
Okay Julie, I have to say that my Mama is rolling in her grave with me saying this, but - Why the heck not! Sounds like it could be a blast. As long as I don't have to do any tassel twirling with my lopsided fake foobs!
Jazzy - soooo glad to hear the pills are helping relieve the pain!
Frosty, Tkone, CS777, Val and anyone else I may have missed who just decided to join us - Welcome to the Vegas train! I missed last years so this will be my first trip as well. Can't wait to meet everyone!
-
Julie, not to steal thunder from your stripping class idea, but since I'm a wuss how about a pole dancing class? I've never taken one, and think that would also be fun. Here is one place that does ladies night parties:
http://www.poleworx.com/vegas-bachelorette-parties.htm - at Pole Worx Las Vegas
Susie, hope you beat this infection speedily - can't believe you picked it up in a hospital.
Jazzy, good for you for getting the pain relief you deserve
-
I have a friend who did the pole dancing class in Vegas--she said it was great fun! I'll have to get details from her when she gets home from her vacation.

-
Hey Julie and Kristinka I am game for either one. Why not - might give me some confidence bak as well as a sense of being sexy again. My reconstructed boob is still hard in places and I don't have complete movement of the shoulder yet but it sounds like fun to me.
-
SUSIE!!! URGH!!!!!!!!! Make sure and let us know what the doc says!!
Lilah...LOVE the pic!!!
Pole dancing???? Most of you know how modest I am...
-
Frosty-I hope you will come! I am arriving early on Friday and am actually staying until Wednesday, but last year I left around lunchtime on Monday. I think I was one of the first to leave, many people stayed until that evening.
Stripping? Probably not for me. Remember I've been to Vegas with some of these girls and there are some serious hot bodies that will be on this trip! I'm not one of them, but y'all go for it!
I would like to check out the Cirque du Soleil shows if anyone is interested. I have seen a couple of them and would like to see at least one while I'm there.
My roomie-Kristina booked her flight! Woohoo!
Jazz-Modest??
-
Susie, What a bummer! My husband gets ring worm from the jiu jitsu matts and uses tea tree oil, grapefruit seed oil or stuff for athletes foot to clear it up. You need an antifungal not an antibacterial.
Kristen/Lilah and others, I think the class I looked at also does pole dancing and it's not truly stripping. In all the pictures on the site the women are in sweats or shorts and t shirts--nothing skimpy. I don't think I could do skimpy either. Lets look into both places maybe somebody will give us a good deal if we have decent size group. Location may be important too. It looks more like a "fun/silly" thing than a serious learn to strip thing.

Pole dancing could be fun ... and definitely the Cirque shows. We saw the Beatles one last year and it was amazing. I'm working out details on my end and will send a PM soon!
-
Lordy Lordy.. I leave BCO for a longgggggggg weekend of soul searching... or... whatever... AND FIND MORE TATA's coming to Vegas?? Really?? WOW! FUN!
GISELLA.... do we need to have a conference call on how many are coming and how to organize?? WOW... quite a few coming...:)
Ladies... I only dance the pole in MY HOUSE.... yup... got one. LOL LOL... but to take a class... naw.... But hey... you all go for it! Might be entertaining. LOL
SUSIE... STOP GETTING INFECTED. ARE YOU LISTENING...OK then! Lordy lady... you're killin' us here.... xxxooo
Jaz.... you are very reserved. I like that about you most.
VOTED AGAIN FOR TRACEY!
MOST ALL TATA's STAY UNTIL MONDAY... WE START LEAVING MONDAY AFTERNOON. JUST FYI.
As everyone said.. just do what you can.. It seems that if you get there early Friday.. and leave late Monday... you have SO MUCH MORE TIME... it is not rushed...:) FYI
