I will start rads in September, after I return from being away with the kids for the summer. I am concerned that I will be really fatigued because they are radiating such a large area. I have handled chemo fairly well and am a little worried about the rads.

I would love to know other people's experience with this, I appreciate your imput!

One love,

Jackie

I had the same rads as you, I didn't find it too bad at all.  I went for a walk every day & made sure I ate well & got a good nights sleep.  I had to travel to have my rads, I wasn't sleeping in my own bed so I too melatonin to help me get to sleep at night.

    Good luck!

    Cheers, Dee

I had the same rads too, 33 rads 2 years ago. .  No problems with them.  I worked throughout treatment, also worked out and kept up my other activities but rested when needed.  Used Vitamin E oil on the rad areas. Good Luck!

Thank you Dee and Maria, I feel a little better knowing it may not kick my a@@. Any suggestions for lotions, etc. to keep my skin healthy? I will try the Vitamin E.

    One love, Jackie
