    I have not been on here in a while either so I am trying to get caught up....just know that everyone who is having problems I have read about them and are praying for each of you.....and most recent...Susie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is finally home....and yes, get that Susie power back sister..you will need it for VEGAS!!!!!.....glad our countdown sister is back...(((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))

    TRACEY YOU ROCK GIRL!!!  WOO HOO!!!  I always wanted my own tv show called, "The Janet Jo Show". and I wanted it just like the Carol Burnette Show!  We don't have variety shows anymore...the kind that make you fall off your chair laughing and being entertained.....

    I am not looking at Southwest...
    I booked two weeks ago ... as OCT is a BUSY month in Vegas...more expensive...I got mine for 300.00 with all the taxes and such..... so I am not looking anymore...LOL.. don't wanna see it get lower for me..

    Yeah Southwest around $446 for me -- ugh.  Keep waiting for improved prices but losing hope.  I may have to bite the bullet and pay that much (the Southwest price from NY area is the same on all airlines, although at least Continental for the same price provides non-stop service -- what is Southwest THINKING?)

    Hi all, I haven't posted here before although I "know" a few of you from EC and Foobville and other threads.  I'm wondering if there's room for one more for this LV reunion????  I haven't even mentioned it to my DH yet but it sounds like a blast and it would be so much fun to meet you all in person!  So, does anyone still need a roommate?  Or know of someone else who's debating going who needs a roommate?  And, is there any post along the way that contains updated details about arrival & departure plans, local transport, etc.  Are most people staying till Mon or are many leaving on Sun?  Just curious.  Thanks for any input you have. 

    Oh, and I just checked Southwest flights and at least from the Bay Area their prices are really good. Just thought I'd mention it in case someone's still looking for tix.

    CS - PLEASE come and join us in Vegas!  We'd love to have you!  I know I have an extra space since KEW isn't going to be able to come.  I think a few others have space, too.  I just made reservations today - on hold til tomorrow while I double check some things - but I'm staying 'til Monday.  I think there are several who have to leave Sunday so they can get back to work on Monday, though.

    Oh yes CS come stay with us!  I'm in Val's room and staying til Monday as well :)  (Haven't bought tickets yet but that is what I will do as soon as I either see the price drop or decide I can't wait any longer).

    CS:   It would be great to meet you in Las Vegas. I'll be there Fri-Mon also. I guess most of the specifics will be determined closer to the time we are going. There are a few different people who went last year working on entertainment /activity details. I hope you be able to come!

    Hi all!  Work has been very busy, traveling and all -- but I am back home for a few weeks.   I just started daily injections of Forteo for osteoporosis.  No side effects so far!!!   

    Tracey -- I voted!  Good luck, roomie!

    Susie -- Glad to hear you are home and healing.  Take care!

    Laura - It was great talking with you!  You are such a dear friend to all of us!

    I am off to the Caribbean in 2 weeks to go sailing.  This will be the first time I am going when I am NOT recovering from surgery and NOT in pain.  I hope it will be a much more enjoyable trip.   Take care all!

    Val and Lilah, Thanks so much for the invitation to join your room (though sorry to kew who's not able to make it).  I'd love to room with you!  :)  Although I have to say I'm a tad worried about 4 in a room...was thinking more of 2 in a room...but that's ok...I'll PM you and we can make sure all's ok.

    I feel really bad though...I just told my DH about the gathering, planning to say "Do you have any objection to my going?" but I barely got through saying Las Vegas get-together and he said "Sure, let's go!"  As in "let US go".  Me:  "Well, it's sort of a BCO girl's thing...."  Him: "Well, I can go and do my own thing, right, and we can just stay together at night?"  Me: "Well, not exactly, I was going to stay with the other gals...its sort of a common-experience togetherness thing..."  And he finally got the picture, but I could tell he was bummed.  He enjoys LV a lot and he's going through some of his own hard time right now so even though he understood in the end I know he feels rejected about being left home.  Sigh.  I'll figure out a way to make it up to him.  :)

    Ok, off to see if SWA is still selling plane tix for a reasonable price!  Looking forward to this very much!  CS

    CS:   My family went to Vegas a couple of years ago for vacation. My DH was ok with me going in Oct but my DD was disappointed that she won't be able to go. Guess I'll have to pick out something special for her while I am there. Glad to hear you'll be joining us.
