Aromasin For Triple Negative Breast Cancer

My aunt has triple negative metastatic breast cancer and was put on aromasin 8 weeks ago and has suffered significant side effects.  In researching aromasin, it seems like it is used in hormone positive cancer -- not triple negative.  Does anyone have any insight on the use of aromasin for triple negative breast cancer?  Your comments and thoughts are greatly appreciated.  Thank you very much.

    I have not heard of Aromasin for tn's...please tell us more when you find out more!

    Please double check on that....it is not used for triple neg.

    Perhaps your aunt is in my predicament. I have been told I am "officially" triple negative, BUT I am weakly positive. I will be starting chemo next week, then radiation and have been recommended to take Tamoxifen when I'm done with treatments due to the weak positivity. I am pre-menopausal, thats why the Tamoxifen.
