I was 27 when first diagnosed with breast cancer, 29 at my second diagnosis and 32 when I was diagnosed with mets to my bones.  I've done relatively well over these past two years, but lots of ups and downs.  Good luck and hugs!  Laughing

I am 35 and I was diagnosed 11/2009 DCIS (stage 0) had bilateral mastectomy 1/2010 after pathology came back found out I was stage IIIC then after pet scan I was diagnosed with mets to liver and left humerus 2/2010  (stage IV  wtf). This whole situation has been more than I ever thought it would be. It has blown my mind how this cancer has grown so fast. I have had several healing issues and infections. I just had my 5th surgery and I am undergoing chemo.  I have 4 more drains and am hopeful that this time my wounds will heal. I am looking forward to getting this behind me. I have had a bumpy ride also and understand how overwhelming it can feel.  Good luck and I am here if you need someone to talk to.Smile

I was originally diagnosed last June as stage 3c, at age 34. 3 weeks ago during a routine brain MRI, a single met to the brain was found. I had a craniotomy to remove the tumor and am starting on Tykerb/Xeloda. I should be having cyberknife radiation within a month or so.
