Does Oncotype dx Influence Radiation?

Well, that's my whole question!  Does anyone know?  Just a chemo decider?

    As far as I know, the oncotype will give you the stats on possible recurrence for you if you get chemo - nothing about rads. It assumes tamoxifen for 5 years.

    The oncotype just compares your risk of distant recurrence with hormone or with hormone + chemo. So it is a chemo decider.

    One factor in determining the duration of radiation is how close your margins were at surgery - if the margins are close, then you may need additional boosts.
