anyone with a benign mass in the liver

I personally do not have that (that I know of!), but I have read of quite a few gals having benign nodules in the liver while having breast cancer.  My onc told me that any CT or MRI will find out things that you had no idea you had and that are totally benign and will never cause any problems.  I wish you nothing less than the best of luck with your biopsy.  Just remember - it can just be something normal for you and not related to cancer at all.

I have a liver hemangioma that shows up whenever I have a scan.  The first time it showed up was before I had cancer.  I had several test run before it was determined it was a hemangioma.  Now whenever I have a scan done, I remind my doctor I do have that in my liver because it does look like a tumor on the scan.

My thoughts are with you as you go through your biopsy in the morning.  Praying for b-9 results!

Last year, I had an ultrasound that showed what was thought to be a hemangioma in my liver.

This year, after they found breast cancer, I had an abdominal CT(with contrast) that again showed the liver mass in question and an MRI (with contrast) was done. It was interpreted as a hepatic cyst and not a hemangioma.

They founds spots on my liver too. I had an ultra sound, CAT scan and MRI and they all come back inconclusive. They wanted to do another test and inject dye and put me in a different machine. I opted not to do it. Instead we are doing another CAT at the end of the month to see if it has changed any. At this point, like some of you said, most people have spots on their livers and don't about it unless they have these test. I believe it is nothing and refuse to worry. I am tired of tests and being injected with dye.

Me, too.  Showed up on MRI and I ended up with a PET scan.  They were convinced it's a hemangioma, not cancer.  I will still have yearly scans, though, because I trust nothing!
